Milescraft 4009 Fence Clamps - 2 pack Universal Clamps with 3/8" Rod for Table Saws, Mitre Saws, Router Tables and Clamping Squares

These fence clamps are terrific. I can use them to hold a sacrificial fence on my table saw, and I also use them to attach my Bow fence extender to my original table saw fence. They are easy to set up and use. They have a lot of adjustable room and they are solid. Best of all is the pad on the clamping head so this won't damage the saw fence. They are less expensive than other brands too. I am very happy with these and I would buy them again.

One complaint - the rod is not bent to 90 degrees. Almost, but not quite. This may not matter for your uses, but it bothers me since the clamping pressure will be uneven. If you have a vise and don't mind tinkering a bit, you could bend it to the correct angle like I did, but you shouldn't have to. I expect better from Milescraft since other products I have from them are more accurately made. Otherwise, it's a sturdy tool.

These clamps are great for holding corner clamps in place. One thing I noticed is that the end swivels freely, so I put a 3/8 - 16 nut on the angle end and locked it in place (see picture). That helped to stabilize the clamp to work more like a standard c-clamp. I found these to be very helpful while using 90 degrees 5.5"x 5.5" corner clamping squares for right angle. The round angle end fits perfectly in the holes in the corner squares and gives a tight clamp with little effort. I also like that the opposite end has a nylon protective end which the other more expensive clamps only have metal. This was a nice addition to my c-clamp arsenal and they worked smooth and tight for my woodworking needs. I would buy them again and they are less expensive than others offered on Amazon.

These clamps do exactly what they’re supposed to do, with solid travel, predictable fit, and compatibility with common shop accessories like 1‑2‑3 blocks. The clamps are incredibly handy, especially when paired with a table saw fence. Their most common job is clamping a stop block to the fence so you can make repeatable crosscuts without the workpiece ever touching the fence during the cut. The generous travel range makes them compatible with wider fences. A note on the rod size: nearly every manufacturer claims a “3/8‑inch rod,” and this one repeats that in the title. At least the description clarifies that it "fits into a 3/8‑inch hole", not that the rod itself is 3/8. My calipers put it just over 5/16", which does fit a 3/8" hole. One of the nicest uses for these is pairing them with 1‑2‑3 blocks as stop blocks. Since those blocks already have 3/8‑inch holes, you can skip drilling a custom wooden block and just drop the clamp right into a hole in the block. It also makes the math dead simple: add 1", 2", or 3" to your fence's cut width measurement depending on which face of the block you’re using. Some of the holes on 1-2-3 blocks are threaded. These are a more snug fit; however, you can always just use one of the other nearby holes.

Simple and cheap. Just spray some dry lube on the screws as they're a bit harsh.

Well made and works great

Milescraft does it again! Not the only fence clamp out there, but these are very solid and extremely affordable. Span up to approximately 6”. Solid STEEL threaded rods and cast aluminum frame. Knob is plastic, but adequate for the task. So far, I’m 5 for 5 with Milescraft accessories. They do the job for a fraction of the cost of the “boutique” brands you see all over YT.

Price point is excellent. Well made. Ordered some and then ordered more after checking them out. Drilled 3/8" holes in the side of cutting board so I can clamp it to the kitchen table and use it as a sacrificial surface to do small projects without fear of harming the table surface. Use them to hold jigs on table saw fence and stop blocks on mitre saw fence for cutting multiples to length. I have many Bessey ws-3 right angle clamps and Bessey K body revo clamps. These fit to factory hold down holes. Awesome discovery. 3/8" bent rod is removable and readily available 3/8" threaded rod can be fitted to two clamps and then used for clamping edge banding. These are versatile and useful.
