Great time saver
I purchased this as an upgrade for a vacuum only robot. It is my first robot cleaner from the Ecovacs brand and I am very happy with it overall. The mopping function was one of my main purchasing factors as I hate mopping my condo. It takes a long time for it all to dry and I have physical limitations that can make it a painful task. After a lot of research I knew I wanted a model with a quality base station that would be as "set it and forget it" as possible. I decided on the T50s Pro as the top of the line model of the T50 series. On the higher end of my budget range, but better value before jumping to the nice price bracket. Setup was pretty easy with the provided instructions. Mostly just removing protective plastic stickers and filling the clean water tank. The size is pretty good for a nook like area in our living room. Connecting the robot during setup was simple with a QR code. I was surprised to see no floor cleaning solution was included. If I didn't have some on hand for a different brand I would of had to wait for another delivery before using the mopping feature. The only issues I had were self inflicted when I forgot to flip the power switch on the back of the docking station and was stuck wondering why the robot wouldn't dock. After a facepalm everything was smooth besides that. Besides those two small pain points (one of which was self-inflicted) setup was easy. The App for this robot offers a lot of features I didn't know I wanted, but I quite like. The features definitely feel like a premium product. The ability to charge the robot during non-peak hours is great for saving on our electric bill long term. The vacuum and mop features all offer 3 levels of intensity/speed. You can select how often you want the robot to return to the base station to rinse the mop pads. Adjust how much water it uses while mopping. How long it spends drying the mops with hot air. The list goes on. The App has sent me notifications about maintenance such as telling me one of the sensors was dirty. My last robot vacuum would just stop working and only give you an error code to google. This app is a lot easier to use. The mapping function worked so well it actually properly labeled the bathroom and tiled laundry room of my house on the map after the first mapping run. I've seen the path the robot travels become smarter over the first week of running it daily. Cleaning performance: I am very happy with the mopping and vacuum performance. After the first week of daily runs I have set the schedule to vacuum once a day and to mop 3 days a week. I have yet to find any un-vacuumed crumbs or messes and its so very nice to have freshly mopped floors when I wake up in the morning. Minor spills in the kitchen from cooking the night before are gone by morning. The mop pads extend out horizontally to run up against baseboards so spots aren't missed do to the round shape of the robot. The robot is fairly quiet during operations. It does have a neat feature of announcing when it is returning to the base station for a specific reason. Emptying the dust bin, cleaning the mop pads, etc. The functions at the base station are a bit noisier as the robot itself warns. There is a quiet mode setting for some of these functions, but I'll take it being slightly noisy for a better clean. It makes sense since its cleaning the mop pads with hot sterilizing water and drying them. I do really like that you can select how often it returns to clean the mop pads. If the floor is particularly dirty you can have it clean itself more often so you don't spread dirt around. The water consumption is a lot lower than I expected. Only needing to occasionally fill up water, empty the dirty tank, or insert a new vacuum bag is every bit as nice as I thought it would be. The base station really saves me a lot of time to focus on other things in life than having to sweep and mop regularly or empty our previous vacuum robot every few days. So far the only problems I've had related to doormats. My front doormat has an irregular design compared to a flat mat. The height of the mat design isn't uniform with valleys and raised areas. Marking the area as a carpet has worked to prevent it from attempting to mop it, but the odd angles seem to result in the robot tipping down in front and thinking one of its sensors is dirty. The app quickly pings about the issue. I resolved it by marking the area as a no go zone. Due to the layout of my house this doesn't affect its cleaning duties thankfully. I have a normal flat mat at our patio door and marking it as a carpet/rug has worked properly where it does not try to mop it. it has flipped up the edge a few times when vacuuming and it gets stuck stuck. It seems the AI has learned to route around this as it stopped happening after the first few days.. So your performance around mats may vary. If its an issue just drawing a no-go zone square in the app has worked for me. To Sum it all up I'm pretty happy with this purchase and its performance so far. Its a significant purchase for me, but I've been happy with the time savings and performance. The set it and forget convivence is wonderful giving me more time to spend on important things. I'll update this review after a few more months if there is anything worth adding. As a final note remember to order some floor cleaning solution alongside this. I do wish the seller included at least a sample pack with the robot.

My Favorite Purchase of the Year
OMG!!!! Hands down, this is one of my favorite items in my house right now! The ECOVACS DEEBOT T50 PRO Omni is a durable, quiet noise, and heavy duty device that has made keeping my floors clean almost effortless. It vacuums and mops incredibly well, navigates around furniture with ease, and leaves my home looking freshly cleaned every single day. I have a busy household, and a garden that seems to follow me indoors, and this robot keeps up with it all. I love coming home to spotless floors without having to lift a finger. The self-emptying and self-cleaning features are a total game changer and save me so much time. The app is easy to use, the mapping is accurate, and the cleaning performance has exceeded my expectations. If you’re on the fence about investing in a robot vacuum, this is the one to get. It’s worth every penny and has truly become one of the best purchases I’ve ever made for my home! Highly recommend! 🤖✨🏡

Great floor cleaning robot but app needs some work.
After a lot of research, I purchased this ECOVACS DEEBOT T50 PRO Omni instead of the Max version, since I don’t have carpeting. It weighs about 35 pounds and looks solid. It was packaged well and arrived in perfect condition. You’ll want to keep the packaging in case you need to ship the deebot to ECOVACS under their limited warranty. Additionally, you’ll want to purchase the Asurion Protection Plan for this complex appliance. I purchased the 3-Year Plan. When unboxing it, the bottom mopping pad plates can be removed to peel off the packing tape wrapped around it. There’s a rubber tube holding it in place so I was concerned that I would damage it but it’s flexible. Be sure to get the tube back into place when reinserting the pad plates. This robot is not excessively noisy when running and is much quieter than my Dyson V15. It verbalizes when it’s returning to the station, emptying the dust bin or washing and drying the mop pads. It’s consistently been able to dock without problems. The app needs work and I’ve struggled to navigate it. It’s taken a lot of experimentation to become somewhat familiar with it. Mapping has also been problematic. My impression, from other reviews, was that it would be easy but that wasn’t the case for my house. The portion of my house that I wanted to map is on one level. I have ceiling to floor mirrors on one wall and dark throw rugs and furniture. During initial mapping, the deebot failed to map my hallway, master bedroom and entire living room. It also got hung up on the black star base for my living room chairs that have low slung legs which radiate outward. I have metal thresholds where my floor transitions from ceramic tile to vinyl flooring and the deebot struggled to cross those as well. Fortunately, after many attempts, I’ve finally gotten an accurate, functional map. To accomplish this, I taped 12 inch wide paper to the bottom of the mirrors, picked up all of the dark throw rugs and used an extremely bright flood light to illuminate the area while following the deebot throughout the house. When it turned in my direction, I turned the light away from it. The bright light kept the deebot from hanging up on the radiating chair legs. Instead, it navigated around them resulting in a fully mapped living room. The extra lighting made all the difference when mapping. I've used the new map and it operated as expected, producing excellent cleaning results. I was very frustrated initially with the app but I’m currently optimistic that I have a viable map. If things change and new problems arise, I’ll update this review. I deducted a star due to the app.

Customer support is great and it's a great vacuum/mop!
I've had several robot vacuums and this has been the best by far! Easy setup, easy to program and mapping was also quick and easy. I think it's a great value for the money because it has a lot more features than many of the more expensive models. However, I began to have a problem with the auto empty function not working consistently. I have two very large dogs that shed a LOT, so I was concerned that it just couldn't handle that much hair! But, I contacted Ecovacs customer support, sent a video of the problem and a proof of purchase. They responded quickly and sent a replacement. I was very impressed with their responsiveness and desire to resolve my problem quickly. So far, my replacement unit is working perfectly! I definitely recommend this Ecovacs model and their customer support!

Very good vacuum
Honestly really happy with this vacuum. It has strong suction and picks up dust and pet hair without any issues. I love how slim it is—it actually gets under my couch and bed. The self-cleaning station is super convenient, so I barely have to think about it. Mopping is good for everyday cleaning too. Definitely worth it for the price!

Disappointed.
I’ve had this vacuum under a year and I am ready for a replacement. It works “fine.” My house does look vacuumed and clean all the time. The mapping is spectacular, and the object avoidance is decent. Here are my problems. It does not “see” low obstacles and gets stuck all the time. Things like a cat tree base, a table with metal rail base, heat registers, Christmas tree stands etc. It also is no match for any kind of loose string. It gets stuck in the short fringe of my Persian carpets near daily. Also, pet excrement- hair balls does not see it and will run it right over. BUT, it dos see fur from a cat fight and will vacuum around it. 😒 It stinks. I use the branded cleaner for the mopping, but it smells awful when it’s air drying. I have cleaned every part I am able to, but it still smells like mildew mixed with cleaner. The inside of the machine is not able to be cleaned, and it does not self clean. It just self cleans the mop pads. Which is another problem, they keep falling off! One pad falls off about weekly. I found a pad on the floor this morning because the Velcro was not sticking. Also this morning, I found the roller brush sitting in the hallway while the vacuum was tackling my kitchen. The enclosure had somehow caught on something and detached itself, along with the roller brush. For a $600 robot vac (which is what I paid for it 7 months ago in August 2025) I expected better. It needs babysat way too much. If you have no pets and only a few carpets, it would be ok.

Does a great job, get one
It does not come with any cleaning fluid, I thought they would give you a sample to try. have not used it yes waiting for fluid but it connected to Wi-Fi very easily. I used it now that I received the cleaning soap. This thing is amazing and leaves your floors exceptionally cleaned. This vacuum-mopping robot is amazing! Thanks for a great product that does what it’s supposed to do. Does a great job vacuuming and mopping the floor and it does not take long to do a great job.

Works great except it dribbles a bit as it mops
This little vacuum quickly mapped out our house and it has remembered where the rugs are, where the vinyl is, and how to get back home. The charge lasts for hours and it makes trips back to clean the mops on long runs. The vacuum itself has shown only one irritating little flaw -- it leaves little drips on the floor as it mops. Often it catches them on its return path, but I usually do a bit of cleanup with a towel when it finishes mopping an area. I keep thinking I will open it up to see if a hose inside is loose or cracked, but so far it has just been a bit of an irritation. I did learn to clean out the dirty water bin on the main unit at least once a week. It can get really stinky. Also, I am not certain about how it is using cleaning solution. Either it uses only a few drops each mopping session or it is not using any at all. It will take a couple more months before I decide just what is going on there. If need be, I will just add cleaning solution to the fresh water.
