Alice Madness Returns - 18 Inch Steel Vorpal Blade Replica

I love this thing. Been wanting it for a while, it is heavy, fully metal. The stand it comes with isn't very good but the real worth its price part is the Knife itself. It feels excellent to hold, definitely will last a while, and while it's not sharp out of the box (which is fine) I'm so happy with this thing. It does exactly what I want from it, functionally just looks COOL. Fit for any person who loves McGee's Alice or just likes cool stuff.

When I saw this knife’s detail & quality at this price, I knew it was love at first sight. The engravings are BEAUTIFULLY done and it came without a single scratch or imperfection to the blade. It was sharp, sexy, large, AND the blade’s handle is super comfortable. The weight of the blade is just the cherry on top… this thing could absolutely be sold at such a higher price if they really wanted to do that. Get it! It’s the perfect thing to add to your collection. My only qualm is with that goofy wood stand. Mine arrived without any hardware so I just ended up ghetto gluein’ the thing. We big resourceful out here in the dirty south, baby. Stay safe and stay sharp!

For fans of the twisted take on Alice in Wonderland explored in American Mcgee's games, the Vorpal Blade is instantly recognizable. This replica is well crafted, hefty and solid! Almost like it came from the Jabberwok's skeleton itself. Now, this is not the original Vorpal Blade released when Madness Returns was new, but unless you have that one in hand, I doubt anyone could tell otherwise. The blade is packaged in a thin, blank black box, within its own plastic bag and rubber tip guard. It also has a wooden stand (in 3 parts, with 3 Philips head screws) to display the knife. There is a faux cutting edge along the blade, that could be sharpened if you so desire. The entire knife is metal and the stand is wood. It has been etched with a floral/vine pattern to replicate the in game textures and it looks phenomenal in person. If you or a loved one is a fan of American Mcgee's Alice in Wonderland, this is a must buy!

Absolutely lovely product, the quality of the knife itself was much nicer than I expected and as mentioned in other reviews this is a heavy piece. The details on the blade and the handle are very well done and the, 'Chinese 404' stamp on the blade wasn't as noticeable as I initially thought it would be. The blade itself is dull and not sharp, I'd still say be careful but you aren't cutting anything easier with this knife. The stand itself is horrible and made from very cheap wood and you have to assemble it. While I was screwing the screws into the stand, it started to split even with me doing it gently. Would give 5 stars, but the stand is rough. Overall, highly recommend for anybody who is a fan of American Mcgee's Alice!

This prop knife from Alice Madness is awesome. The blade engraving detail is lovely! The prop is hefty. So hefty, in fact, it split the the wood cradle for the blade on the display base. The quality of the base may be more to blame? I was able to repair the cradle. The blade is not sharp, actually, far from it. It is prop dull, but pointy. Regardless, convention security won't allow one to carry it into a convention hall. I haven't tried, but I believe the blade may accept an edge, if one were so inclined.

I bought this. It is a beast. 440 steel, all metal. Handle is metal, might be brass? No edge. I am taking mine to a bladesmith to sharpen. If it turns out well, I will buy more. Very heavy. I am impressed! Do not buy this until I have bought more. I do not want them to run out of inventory.

This freaking knife is sick! As an AMR fan I love the detail. It’s literally her knife in game haha, amazing and heavy. Not sharpened but that’s okay. For its size this knife is remarkable! Love how huge it is and how durable it feels.

This is the real deal. I recently started getting back in to Alice: Madness Returns. Happened across this by chance and everything about it is perfect. I opted not to use the stand, but the knife itself and the stand are top notch. The blade has some SERIOUS HEFT. This thing is no joke. The handle, markings on the handle and blade engraving are stunning. This is a beautiful piece. I think it’s an amazing value, and honestly it’s bigger than I thought it was going to be. 10/10 - amazing. Can’t wait to finish my play-through of Alice again.

Engraving is very nice and looks great on a stand for display

Bellissimo.
