Not only are the circus skills of the highest quality but the costumes, make-up, sets, music and technical backup are of exceptional standard. Their shows break the mould of the more traditional circus, although they are still in essence, a cabaret of acts. However there is a definite blurring of the boundaries and the whole show flows as a continuous stream, more like a musical - except instead of a dance troupe they have acrobats or trapeze artists. Although the shows do attempt to tell a story, that takes second place to the sheer spectacle, and so it should. Each show will take you on a fantasy ride of colour, sound and surrealism; so sit back, relax and enjoy exceptionally talented and well rehearsed performers push the human body and its imagination to their limits. Then ask yourself "Why haven't I got a job like that?" - but then again, maybe you have! Review: Brilliant - I absolutely loved all the discs in this pack, it is that breath taking you can almost see the performers in your own living room and smell the grease paint! I have never managed to get to a live show, but to me this is the next best thing (and probably better, because if you miss anything you can wind it back!) After seeing these dvd's I now more than ever want to see a cirque du soleil show!

Brilliant
I absolutely loved all the discs in this pack, it is that breath taking you can almost see the performers in your own living room and smell the grease paint! Cirque du Soleil - 4 dvd pack
When I received this item, One of the dvds had been substituted - I sent an e mail to see if it had been a mistake but have had no reply - very disappointing.

Great
Ciurque Du Soleil are amazing and provide very theatrical, almost operatic performances of what some might argue are basically old fashioned circus acts. This is a mixed bunch of DVD's none of which I would suggest are their best. But Cirque Du Soleil's best really are superb so these performnaces are still very watchable and highly entertaining.

We don't have the words to express our continued delight with the performances on these discs. Cirque Du Soleil gives us common ground with all our grandchildren & great grandchildren from toddlers to 26yr olds. Good wholesome family entertainment at it's very best. The improvement to performance & presentation through the years from conception until now is obvious & a joy to watch.
