Cuprinol5L Shed and Fence Protector - Acorn Brown

The media could not be loaded.  I have a 18 x 12 foot shed and managed to do x1 coat on the whole thing and x2 coats on the sides in the picture. This works out perfect for me as the other sides don’t get weathered at all and looks great after two coats.Really happy with this product covers really easy and quite fast to dry so you can apply a second coat quite quick after. (Roughly 30mins in between coats depending on weather)Will buy again when needed also this is solvent paint and not water based which I was recommended to use by multiple people.I’m no expert but just got told to avoid water based stuff. 100% recommend this.

Great stuff. Nice colour and protects your wood. I have used this before. Expensive but goes a long way.

Our shed is 12 x 8 and higher than a normal shed. Managed to paint the shed twice and painted the gate too! Only thing is it dripped a lot on to the slab and the colour doesn’t come out sadly. The paint itself is great, can see the water rolling off the shed!

I like the fact that this is spirit based which in my opinion is more durable and lasts longer than water based products. Easy to apply but need to be cautious of splashing. I treated new railway sleepers with this for my garden borders.

I have used this Cuprinol to protect softwood picnic benches which are left out all year round. After more 35 years of (almost) annual use of Cuprinol Shed and Fence Protector the benches are still in excellent condition, with no sign of rot. Because it is spirit based (not water based) it really soaks into the wood rather than just providing a surface coating.

It’s so thin in viscosity (like water), it’s so quick to apply. Doing my shed took around 30mins per coat of which I did 3. Looks more orange when wet but darkens to a lovely brown over a 24hr period. Being so runny it can make a mess but I was prepared with dust sheets. It can be washed off hard surfaces such as stone pavers, however I’m not sure about larger spills (small splashes are ok). Would highly recommend.
