What is the wrapping of your Dishwasher tablet made of?

The wrapping is made from PVOH, Polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) which is a water-soluble polymer. Although it is synthetic, it is unusual in that it biodegrades back to CO2 and H2O in normal conditions, without leaving microplastics.

Do I need to unwrap the tablet?

No need to unwrap the tablet - the plastic-free coating dissolves fully in your dishwasher
