I don't know why people are sleeping on this product! It is a game changer! I was losing so much hair weekly when I washed my hair. It got to the point where I didn't want to wash my hair, I didn't want to see all the hair fall out. It was very concerning, and depressing. I am now on my third bottle! Literally after three days usage my hair fallout was reduced by two thirds. I'm not kidding, it was amazing! I waited until I completed my first bottle and halfway through my second bottle before writing this review because I wanted to make sure this wasn't my imagination. I honestly cannot believe how well this works. If you are on the fence about it, buy the small bottle, give it a try, that's what I did. Now I buy the larger bottle. I like the pump sprayer (large bottle) better than the dropper (small bottle). It's so much easier to apply.

I’m reviewing the Pilgrim Advanced Hair Growth Serum, which contains 3% Redensyl, 4% Anagaain, and the Capilia Stem Cell Complex. It’s marketed as a product that strengthens roots, reduces hair loss, and improves hair density. The serum comes in a small 0.85 fl oz roll-on container. As I’ve entered perimenopause, I’ve noticed an increase in hair loss, particularly during showers, despite a thorough brushing before each shower. My hair has been thinning for some time, and I can’t afford it to continue thinning. I have long, blonde, fine hair. My ponytails are not as voluminous as they once were, and when I’m at home, I can’t stand my hair in my face. I wear it to one side, so it naturally falls in my face, so wear it back in a ponytail or a bun. Doing this pulls at the crown. I don’t want the crown to become a problematic area in a decade or two like it often does for older women. For the past year, I’ve been trying various remedies to address this issue. I now use mulberry silk hair ties and pillowcases, which are extra gentle on hair. The hair ties are fantastic; they don’t pull or tug. I’ve been using silicone, paraben, and sulfate-free shampoos. I also take a collagen supplement in my morning coffee. Lastly, I’ve tried a variety of hair serums. And guess what? I’m noticing my hair is thickening back up! This container is quite small, so it’s difficult to attribute my thickened hair solely to this product. That wouldn’t be fair. However, all my efforts, combined, are paying off. I haven’t noticed any overpowering smell when using this serum. As a blonde, blue-eyed, and fair-skinned individual, I’m more prone to sensitivities when trying new products. I haven’t had any reactions to this serum; it doesn’t itch, burn, dry my scalp, or make it feel oily. It also doesn’t flake. Applying serums with long hair can be a bit tricky, but I eventually manage to get it done. This small container and roll-on applicator are actually quite convenient for application. I’ve tried several serums this past year, and surprisingly, this one is easier to apply. However, it’s not the most cost-effective option. At the time of my review in May 2026, it was priced at $18.99. The bottle is very small, travel-sized I'd say. Pilgrim also sells a 1.69-ounce version of this same serum for just a dollar more than the 0.85 ounce travel-sized version. The only difference seems to be the container. The larger version comes in a glass bottle with a dropper, while this small version has a roll-on applicator. This makes the larger version much more cost-effective, and it’s difficult to justify the price of the roll-on. Despite the price point and the availability of a larger size for a dollar more, I can’t deny the quality of this serum. It’s something I might consider purchasing in full-size. Some of the ingredients not mentioned above include Niacinamide, biotin, peptides, amino acids, hyaluronic acid, and more. I’m deducting one star only because of the price and the fact that a larger size is available for a dollar more. Otherwise, this serum has been one of my favorites.

My husband uses products to stimulate hair growth for several years now. I'm always looking for something with new ingredients and technology. The ingredient list in the product is designed to stimulate blood circulation to promote hair growth with ingredients to strengthen the hair and reactivate. The product application is three droppers per treatment. It seems like a lot of serum but it is non-greasy and dissipates well and it doesn't make his hair oily. It says it can take 3 months to see results. I do not think the bottle will last that long as it is less than 1 oz. He is using it and he feels that they are healthy quality ingredients for hair loss. The price point is good for the bottle but keep in mind that this will only be about a two-week supply. It does have a stronger scent that he does not care for so he will not be repurchasing.

So far, I haven’t seen major regrowth results, but that’s not unexpected; products like this typically take consistent use over time. I do feel like it helps support my overall routine, and the ease of application has made me more consistent, which is a plus. The size is decent for a roll-on, but if you’re using it regularly, you may go through it fairly quickly. For me, that tradeoff is worth it for the convenience. Overall, this is a solid, lightweight scalp serum that’s easy to use and great for maintaining a routine. It’s not a quick fix, but if you’re patient and want something mess-free and travel-friendly, it’s a good option to complement other treatments.

I'm very pleased with it. The delivery was impressively fast, and the product itself has exceeded my expectations. It doesn't feel oily at all, and I haven't experienced any itchiness after using it.
