How to return wouldn’t fit my helmet but all in all a good buy

Quality wise it's amazing for plastic, amazing price for the money and preforms amazingly. It looks good and weighs little but it does wobble after use with NVGs or anything else attached but nothing a little tightening can't fix.

I purchased this so I could mount my Nighfox Prowl 2 night vision monocular onto my AOUTACC helmet, as the head strap that comes with the night vision left something to be desired. Since I'd already spent $250 on the night vision and $60 on the helmet, I cheaped out on the NVG24 mount and got this one. It fit onto the helmet's mounting bracket perfectly and it fit the dovetail adapter of my Prowl 2 perfectly. But the hinge point that allows the unit to flip up and down has about a 1/8th inch of play/wobble and no amount of tightening stops that. Since I purchased this stuff to walk around and view wildlife at night, it's not a huge deal, but the play in the unit can be jarring and induce motion sickness if you're going too fast. If you're going to use your night vision for airsoft or home defense or any instance where you need to run or jog, spend the extra money on the metal one. Later down the road, I will plan to do so, as my faith in the longevity of this unit isn't super high. But in short, it does the job serviceably. Just don't expect it to be comparable to the $80-$100 mounts.

Friends told me I should get a metal mount for my mock nvgs, but saw how expensive they were and wouldn’t make sense for me to spend that much for a prop. I bought the plastic one and so far they’ve been sturdy and haven’t broke easily like my friends warned me. I’ll post an update if anything changes.

Used to connect the night vision quad lenses we ordered. (Both helmet and goggles were ordered on Amazon) worked perfect, sturdy. Instructions weren't included but we realized they are on the pictures. They're strong enough to hold the lenses up, which are pretty heavy.
