Does the job well. Well made with sturdy handles and easy to clean. Unless one of my kids steals it, it should last for years.

These work great but my two issues with them are that they’re pretty big and they a pain to keep from rusting. You’re supposed to use a barrier between them and then food you’re pressing but these things will rust in no time if you don’t keep them dry and oiled. I put just as much care into these as I do my cast iron and having a cast iron is like having another kid but less expensive. Long story short, they’re good but they take extra work to keep in good shape and they’re pretty big so it’s hard to fit in my cast iron pan, sorry I meant my other kid.

These are heavy and well made. I appreciate having the wooden handle which allow it to be moved around with needing a pot holder (for my use it is grab-able, I can't vouch for all uses). I have a 12" cast iron pan that works for either although you wouldn't be able to use the rectangular one on anything smaller that a 12" pan. The round one has grooves, which I'm not sure would be my first choice for smash burger use if I'm pushing down while cooking, but I haven't tried - I prefer the rectangular one as I can get two patties under it at once. It was a great price-point for a set of two and I'm very satisfied with the purchase. You need to remember they are cast iron and to treat them as such in terms of drying them off right after washing them to prevent rusting.
