due to length of battery, I was unable to install it.
this battery is slightly ever so slightly longer than the typical 4LR 44 battery. As a result when I tried to use it, I couldn’t close the battery compartment cap. My old battery fit fine. I went to the hardware store and bought a replacement battery from them and it fit fine so I’ve got to conclude that this battery was slightly too long rather than the other two batteries from the other two companies, being slightly too short. I returned the batteries.
