In 1989, I first used Nioxin system 2C. My hairdresser said, this stuff will blow up because it WORKS. I have used it all my life. I was 20 in 1989, and very much had hair. I'm now 56, post menopause and thinning due to tossing hair in bun for two yrs. The crown and hormones and eating wrong, made me sick. I use a topical 5% foam from another business and this system 3 for hair thinning. We shall see. This shampoo tho!! Works, feels good, tingles, and smells amazeballs!!! I apply from ears down the conditioner. Light on scalp, use a wide tooth comb I got on here, wood and made in Italy, and the results are beautiful. I'll buy bigger next time.

I’ve been using this for approx. three months, I don’t wash my hair everyday maybe only two or theee times a week. When I started I was what felt like a small handful a day, when I brushed and especially when I showered. I was scrolling one evening and this popped up in my Amazon might try. I read a few of the reviews and decided to try it. In the past three months I’ve noticed less hair in the shower, and my brush, the little curls denoting new hair growth are back not anything major but it’s noticeable to me. My looks fuller, feels and looks healthier. I’d show pictures but I always wear my hair in a messy bun so pictures aren’t going to prove any proof. It’s relatively inexpensive and worth the try, be sure to find your right combination I color my hair a lot so 4 was my combo.

Issue: localized hair thinning due to hormonal changes post menopausal and tension provoked (tight pony tail on a daily basis).Length of hair to shoulders.In relation to the efficacy of these items for hair fall and regrowth…..my hair has slowed down and falls noticebly LESS but not regrowth is noted whatsoever. I am also doing Rogaine at the same time. I am on week 9th.The shampoo does live my hair a bit dry.I like the smell of fresh mint scent but I was disappointed about the size of the product. The shampoo bottle and the conditioner are the same size but it takes more conditioner than shampoo for my hair. I do not wash my hair daily but only 2x a week and since purchasing the products I have used the conditioner only 6 times and that is about all I got from it.The scalp serum is all right and more like a scalp tonic.All together I would give the shampoo and conditioner a 4 stars but I think the serum is not necessary.The product is very overpriced as a set together. After 2 uses of conditioner I only apply a quarter size to the scalp and use a keratin conditioner for the rest of my hair. The conditioner bottle will last you about 6 to 8 washes.I guess they figured that people have not much hair?? Yet the marketing ad for the product has a young woman with luscious, curly hair.

This works!I realize my hair was thinning at my hairline and it was also thinning at my part. I ordered this, as well as Nature's Bounty hair skin nails capsules. I am so happy to say that I have baby spiky hairs growing where i had lost hair. This stuff absolutely works. I I would highly recommend this.Because I have dyed hair (black) , I purchased the one safe for dye hair. However, one thing I will say though, is the foam that you put at your scalp aside from the shampoo and conditioner, it does fade the dye at the roots. So my hair tends to turn a little brown where I put the product. Not a big deal considering what it's doing.I ordered on May 15th, it is now July 23rd and I have about 1.5cm of new growth.

I like this hair combo product. The only complaint and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the foam, which is the main hair growth part, is not enough and doesn't last as long as the shampoo and conditioner do. I recommend doing a test before using it on your scalp. As it is mentioned in the product description and direction, the ingredients in the foam can cause a burning sensation and you skin can become red. For me it lasted about a few minutes the first time I used it and as I used it more the less the side effects got. The overall quality of my hair also increased. I just wished they had a bigger size foam.

Ok so I have to do this review bc it works! I've been battling hair thinning and ive tried a lot of products both topically and orally ...this is it...after one wash i saw my hair more lively and vibrant and shiny just after one use...not sure how it will hold up as far as making my hair thicker but I can already tell its making my hair stronger as well lively, so very impressed had to shareSo I had to come back and add pics bc it works and the pic says it all!! As u can see on the left is before I started using it and the second one is after only two times of using the shampoo and conditioner and I have used the mousse once which is in second pic! I washed my hair the same day these were taken and the left was from valentines day and the right one is from a day ago. As u can see the volume is undeniable!!! And let me also add that i tease my hair for volume purposes which I did one the left but I didnt even have to with this stuff, this is carzy! I have spent so much money on different products and to think I haven't tried this sooner, well im kicking myself in the butt!!

Zero stars. My hair was exactly where I wanted it to be for the first time in my life. Both in length and thickness. I thought using this product would help keep it there. I assumed I was being proactive to protect what finally grew in and became healthy. During the first wash I noticed excessive shedding. I thought maybe it’s my hormones. By second wash I could visibly see the effects of the excessive shedding both in and out of the shower. I was losing full strands from the root in clumps. I could see my scalp as if there was baldness occurring and I no longer had any baby hairs to brush down on sides of my head. That was a huge tell for me as I have to brush them down daily and enjoy doing so. Someone else even noticed and told me I should use something to regrow my hair along hairline for where they could see it had thinned out (not knowing that just two weeks prior I didn’t have this issue-this was result of the product). I have since read many comments on multiple forums stating this product causes shedding to “cleanse scalp” or “create a healthy environment for hair growth.” If you have hair on your scalp and want to keep it there, I DO NOT recommend this product. If you are patchy and the risks of losing hair to then wait to grow it back all over again seems worth it to you, choose wisely. I can’t believe I now have to wait for my hair to grow back all over again. It’s truly disheartening for me as this has been YEARS long journey to finally feel confident with health of my hair just to be worse off than I ever was when it felt to be at its worst. I have never experienced this amount of shedding and loss, not even when the dermatologist was startled at the pictures I showed her of shedding on wash days. This product caused much worse. Even after only using it twice, the shedding continued to the point I was worried to wash it and lose more when hair was wet since shedding continued when hair was dry. It also has dried out my hair completely to the point that it sounds crunchy. My curly hair was finally long and healthy for the first time ever, and now I’m starting from scratch due to this product. I will never use this product again nor will I ever recommend it to anyone.

UPDATE: After 35 days of use I see obvious improvement. The short, fine hairs at my hairline (particularly at the temples) NEVER seemed to grow UNTIL I started using Nioxin 35 days ago. Hair at my temples was very sparse and my scalp showed through. Now it’s nearly filled in.I can’t honestly say if there is more growth on top of my head yet, but the hair seems much fuller. I realize it takes time for growth that begins below the surface to become apparent. In the meantime, I’m thrilled that my hair has become soft and so much more manageable.Another plus, just a small amount of shampoo and conditioner quickly turn into a rich lather. I don’t think I’ll ever use another product again. Purchased the 30 day supply. I’ve used the product generously and still have a lot left after 35 daily shampoos. Highly recommend it.Posted 35 days ago:I’ve been worried about thinning hair for a long time (female, 77). Decided to try this before Rogaine. Instructions say you must use it every day for the first month. I don’t usually wash my hair every day because it’s shoulder length, but I’m willing to put forth the extra effort to gain fuller hair!It has been 10 days since I began the regimen and my hair feels transformed!The shampoo and conditioner lather up super fast and have a really nice, light fragrance. The final step takes me a few extra minutes because I want to be sure to get good scalp coverage (be sure to shake the bottle until you don’t hear the contents moving), then I use a wide tooth comb to distribute it through my hair.I know it’s too soon to expect to see new hair growth on my scalp, but my center part and extreme thinning at the temples seem very much improved due to the new appearance of fullness. My hair feels like it’s alive again - nice movement and soft feel. I can’t wait to show my hairdresser!I should also note that I also began to massage my scalp twice daily to stimulate root growth. I’m all in on this product.Have taken multiple brands of hair growth pills, and have taken Biotin (5,000 mg) for many, many years. Working only from the “inside” hasn’t done it for me, but I am VERY hopeful that adding this product and working from the “outside” will be a game changer. I will update in a few months, but I have high hopes due to the new silky texture and fuller appearance.
