For the money, this is a five star purchase. It works really well, but because of the kind of motor it has, it’s a bit noisy.

Doesnt work well. Wont hold a load when you stop and the remote doesnt work.

It was not what I expected. Too loud for what I needed it for.

Junk don’t buy work one wk have to hit with hammer to get to work real noisy

I use it to hoist up and down a garage storage shelf for my Christmas stuff.Three control methods are a significant plus. The manual operation is straightforward, the wired control offers precise handling, and the wireless remote allows operation from a distance, which is excellent for safety. The motor is a bit noisy but for me I'm not using it on a daily basis.I would recommend it for anyone looking for an affordable, multi-functional electric hoist for home or small-scale commercial use. Just be prepared for some initial setup frustrations and the motor's noise level.

This winch worked great to get me out of a bind. Working in the woods taking down trees, I used this winch and a portable battery bank to pull down a tree that got bound up and would not fall. Really helpful to have a light-weight winch that's portable for work sites unreachable by vehicles.

My use for this NEWTRY electric hoist was for lifting mowers when servicing the underside. This takes all the strain out of lifting mowers as well as making the process safer. Both the cable and the hooks are high-quality and appear to be well matched to the lifting capacity of this unit. The images in the listing are odd choices for showing the listing capacity of 1100 pounds as they are showing what looks like a 10-pound bundle of wood, then a multiple thousand-pound stack of rebar, and finally a pickup truck being dragged. The reality is that the device is an excellent choice for hundreds of pounds of weight and that is the extent of the testing of weight capacity I have done.

Versatile hoist works well, easy installation using the hook. I mainly use it to assist in lifting my dogs for nail grooming. The wireless remote is very handy. This unit is a bit pricey compared to units of equal capability.
