Is this adapter for the camera unit or the handheld monitor unit?

This adapter is exclusively for the camera unit (the unit placed in baby's room). It will NOT power the handheld monitor (the screen you carry around), which uses a different adapter. Please confirm before purchase.

Will it work with both the DXR-8 and the DXR-8 PRO?

Yes. This replacement adapter fits the camera unit of both the original DXR-8 (3.5" system) and the DXR-8 PRO (5.0" system), as well as the Add-on Camera Unit.

Which plug type / region is this adapter made for?

This item ships with a US two-prong plug built to FCC and UL safety standards. Because the adapter itself accepts 100V–240V input, it can be used internationally with a simple plug-shape converter (no voltage transformer required).
