Really great product, really lights up the dark corner of my garden

Great lights and totally suit the space

This product is described as 'outdoor' & 'waterproof', but there are images of 'flooded' bulbs in the reviews on Amazon. Yes, buried somewhere in the description the bulbs are rated as IP44. Internet searches suggest that IP44 is not what most people would believe is waterproof. It appears that if the lamps are used outside they should be sheltered from the rain (ie under a canopy of some sort or under the eaves of a building). According to www northern-connectors.co.uk 'IP44 rating does not mean the product is waterproof - so it will not be suitable for exposure to heavy rain...'. The product headline describing it as 'Outdoor' and 'Waterproof' appears to be very misleading. As other reviews have mentioned the festoon is not particularly well packaged. One reviewer has said it took 2 hours to untangle, fortunately I managed it in 10 minutes. This could easily be resolved by taking a leaf out of the book of those who package Christmas lights. Another minor niggle is that the usb socket is mounted on the side of the solar panel. It would (in my opinion) be better protected from the elements if it was on the bottom of the panel (when in its installed orientation). The on/off switch does not function as one (it does not turn off the lights), however the mode button can be used to turn them off. I will be returning this item and looking for an IP65 rated product.

Thought i was buying one continous string, but it was simple to connect two together (just a lot of wire to hide!) And i wish I'd checked how far apart the bulbs were as they are further apart than I had in mind... work well and still look ok!

These solar string lights have turned my garden into a delight once the sun sets. They’re a decent length, about 15 metres which I have draped around the trees, along my patio. The little globe bulbs give off a soft, cozy lighting that’s just right for evening chats or relaxing with a tea, unlike some I have had that give a harsh white blue light. They have four lighting modes.... steady glow, fast flash, slow flash, and a gentle “breath” effect. It’s handy to switch between them depending on the mood, although I tend to keep them on the 'steady' mode most evenings. These lights are solar-powered, using a smart solar panel that charges up during the day. I’ve never had to worry about replacing batteries or dragging an extension cable through the garden. Even on dull days, they still manage to pick up enough charge to light the evenings, though of course, long, sunny afternoons are best. They’re made well enough to feel weatherproof and haven’t faded or dimmed after a few weeks outside. I’ve left them up through rain and wind, and they're still hanging bright as ever. The fact that they’re solar and still reliable makes them feel like a thoughtful little upgrade to how the garden looks and feels after dark. All in all, these lights are simple, smart, and mood-setting. They’re just the right touch to bring a gentle glow to outdoor evenings. If there is no sun, they can also be charged using a USB C cable which is handy. I am going to get another set soon.

Says you can charge it with usb. There isnt one on it ,the cable is also wired inside the solar pannel

Luci stupende. Il fatto che posso modificare l intensità dell illuminazione poi è eccezionale. Ho preso i 45 metri: ho la terrazza sempre pronta per le feste!!! Resistenti agli urti. E a una notte di pioggia molto forte. Sono perfette

Son bastante buenos y aguantan en el tiempo. Traen unas cuantas bombillas de repuesto por si hiciera falta. Al llegar unas cuantas no encendian pero era porque no estaban roscadas del todo. El mando es muy util se puede controlar la intensidad,apagar/encender,programas por tiempo y hasta tienen 2 modos de destellos que se pueden ajustar tanto en intensidad de luz como frecuencia de destello.
