I got this desk to put all my crafting stuff on, (Crochet tools, printer, thermal printer, cricut and sewing machine) and I still have plenty of room on the shelves for more.The assembly was MOSTLY easy. I had to switch a few parts around after putting them on because the instructions weren’t entirely clear on certain parts. I was able to assemble this desk by myself. It took me a few hours but that’s because my kids kept trying to “help”. Once it was all put together the right way, it’s very sturdy. I was worried that some of the holes wouldn’t line up like other people have said but I didn’t have that issue once everything was done. (Again, I had to switch some pieces around to get the right fitting.)It’s a big desk with more than enough room for all of my stuff. It’s a little heavy but that’s an issue for moving day since we live upstairs lol.The monitor stand it comes with doesn’t attach to the desk so I’m currently not using it for its intended purpose. If you don’t have your desk against a wall, I wouldn’t use it to put a monitor on unless you want it to fall and break.All in all, I absolutely love this desk. I looked around trying to find my perfect desk and landed on this one. I’m so happy I got this desk and would choose it all over again if I had to get a new one. The price is great and the durability and space is amazing.

I'm going to be for real, I bought it because it was a cheap and aesthetic option that did what I wanted, and totally anticipated the quality of it being pretty terrible, but expected. I spilled some raspberry juice on it, you know the most colorful and dark, watery liquid you possibly could, sure it would seep in and stain it. Nope! Came out great. I than later discover I had missed some a day later, sure that by now whatever cheap lacquer protection had saved me last time would be defeated. Nope! still looks spotless. Excellent quality, love the shape. Screws and leveling aren't perfect, but It does the job.

The L-shaped desk exceeded my expectations. It's spacious and sturdy, perfect for working on a computer and still having room to write or place accessories. Assembly was simple, and the instructions were clear. I love the modern design; it makes great use of corners and provides a sense of order. Without a doubt, an excellent purchase for an office or home study.

So I bought this desk after seeing it and thinking about it for 2 days.First off, the shipping was insanely fast. I ordered it on the 6th, got them both on the 8th. Yea, I ordered 2.I wanted to see if I could mirror them for a his/hers desk set up. You'll see reviews or the FAQ will say that you cannot mirror this set up. But the only part of the desk that won't 'mirror' is the shelves. They can be installed on either the left or right of the main desk, but the shelves themselves can only lay 1 direction.The wood is manufactured wood, IE particle board. But it does state that in the description of the item. Lots of complaints about the wood used, but it DOES tell you what is used. The boards are light weight because of this, and they hold enough weight needed for a gaming or streaming set up.I also saw bad reviews complaining of stability, but this thing's more stable than most desks I've owned once tightened down properly. It also comes with support rods to install, which make it even more sturdy.It also comes with an LED strip to install under the main desk, and one shelf. More than I expected to get.The frame is metal, akin to the same material used for those black metal futons at Walmart, we all seen'em.The cable hole is convenient, don't lose the cap folks. And don't break it, thing's a bit fragile.For some reason they didn't make attachment points for the monitor stand, but I don't mind. I suppose it adds versatility and lets you choose where to put your screen.The directions were easier to follow than this review, and it makes sure to point out to pay attention to the hole placement during assembly to match that of the images in the directions.So as long as you aren't trying to stand on the desk or do the deed on it, this desk is pretty spot on.

My 10 year old wanted this desk. After looking at the pictures and other reviews, it was slightly concerned, especially the one about the shelving collapsing.After carefully reading the instructions ad began to build the desk. When building you have to be ESPECIALLY careful to look at the photos, as there's very little words and they're translated from another language making it not clear at times. The only thing we messed up on was the tall rectangular shelving supports, I put one backwards without realizing it. We had to take everything apart and start over...but that was the ONLY difficult part of putting this thing together.If your floor is slightly uneven there's stabilizing screw bottoms to make it even. After it was all put together, my son loves it. There's plenty of storage for his collectibles, anime stuff and other toys.The material covering the desktop is a plastic like textured material and not just a basic veneer paper like material. So if he spills something it won't immediately ruin the desk like other types of cheap veneers.Overall, I can't comment on the true longevity of this desk, but initial review of putting it together, stability and appearance- we're definitely glad we purchased this desk. If for some reason, this changes I'll go back and update this review.

Overall, the desk is very sturdy and has plenty of space. I've been using it for a few months now and have no issues with it. The instructions are pretty clear on how to piece everything together. Just make sure you put it together where you want it to sit. it's very heavy once fully pieced together
