Metfut Laptop Cooling Pad with Detachable Fan & Cooler,360° Rotation Base

This is by far the best cooling laptop stand I've ever purchased, and I've gone through several. None have been close to this kind of quality. Most laptop cooler/stands that you can find on the market are plastic, flimsy, and cheap. None I've seen have had an actual semiconductor cooler in addition to cooling airflow from fans. I use a Wacom Mobile Studio Pro for my work as an illustrator, which is a hefty and powerful device that can heat up quite a lot when working on large Photoshop files or in Blender, so finding something this sturdy with cooling is fantastic. I love that the cooler is detachable, making it an easy item to fold down, pack up, and take with me in my laptop backpack. It attaches to the stand with a slight give from the springs on its four pegs which push it right against the back of my device. Careful though, as the cooler is not securely attached to the stand when your laptop is not weighing it down. The fan is so quiet. I LOVE the 20w power capability from a wall plug in addition to the 5w power capability you can get from plugging it into your laptop. I like to take my mobile studio with me multiple times a week to different locations to help with focus, so having a reliable stand as sturdy and trustworthy --as my home office Ergotron arm no less -- is a welcome surprise I didn't expect to find on the market! --- Feedback: I only have a few small notes to improve this design. One, the cooler doesn't not fit well into the top most screws on my stand due to the large rubber pads that are just slightly too close. A millimeter further away would fix the problem. Two, an easy way to secure the cooler into place and attach the stand to the cooler would be really nice. I love how easy it is to move and how it sits in there just right, but if I go to pick up my stand it'd be great if I knew I could securely move it in one piece if needed. I understand the stand can't fold down all the way while the cooler is attached, so I get why this wasn't done, but I still think it would be beneficial with a warning not to fold it down while its in place. Three, get better branding! If you're going to stick with the brand name MetFut which sounds goofy in English, you need a really cool logo to make up for it. :) A product as good as this deserves it.

I originally bought this because I have a high-performance laptop with 12 GB of VRAM and upgraded the system RAM to 64 GB. Under heavy workloads, it can generate quite a bit of heat, and you can definitely hear the laptop’s internal fans spin up. I was building a docking station setup for the laptop, and this cooling stand fit perfectly into that setup. The cooling fans have multiple speed settings and connect through USB-C. They do a good job of helping keep the laptop cool under heavier workloads, which is exactly what I bought the stand for. One of my favorite features is the adjustable height. I use mine at a kitchen table, and I can raise and angle it so that the laptop screen is directly at eye level. Instead of constantly looking down at the screen, I can sit comfortably and look straight ahead, which makes a big difference when I’m using the laptop for extended periods. The adjustable joints are also impressively sturdy. They take some effort to move, which is a good thing in this case. Once you put them where you want them, they stay there, even under the weight of the laptop. There’s no sagging or slowly slipping out of position. Overall, this has been a great addition to my laptop docking setup. It helps with cooling, puts the screen at a comfortable viewing height, and is sturdy enough to confidently hold a performance laptop. Five stars from me.

It is a sturdy metal built. A little bit heavy but consider it’s a metal product it is expected. I love the 360 rotation and adjustable angle make it easy to use, just put it on the desk and adjust as needed. Metal sheet cooling pad is a great design and is more effective to my setup. What I don’t like is the fan air flower. Typically I was expecting an exhaust fan flow blowing out the heat but this one is the intake fan bringing air towards the laptop. If you have the necessary skills and don’t care about the warranty, you can reverse the fan and get a better cooling performance imo.

To my surprise, this thing actually worked. Purchased March 2025, but for the last three months, the fans have been bugging out. They no longer work without making noise, but the conductive plate that gets cold still gets cold. Other than that with the fans not working this thing is not functional. Paid too much for it to fail. It should’ve come with higher quality fans.

I’ve been using this laptop cooling stand with a detachable thermoelectric cooler for awhile now, and overall, I’m really impressed with its performance. The cooling system works exactly as advertised. There are two settings: the 5W mode, which I tested first, lowers the temperature of the semiconductor cooler to 53°F from my room temperature of 72°F. Then there’s the 20W mode, which is even more powerful, cooling the semiconductor down to a chilly 37°F. For my laptop and even my iPhone during fast charging, this has been a game-changer for preventing overheating. I even tested it by placing my phone on the cooling pad when it got too hot, and it worked to cool it down quickly. The stand itself is solid and built to last. It feels heavy-duty and stable, making it perfect for daily use at home or in the office. However, it’s a bit bulky and not ideal for travel, but you can detach the cooling pad. If you’re someone who needs to frequently take your stand on the go, the weight might be a drawback, but I don’t mind leaving it on my desk for regular use. I’m sure it cools well enough, but I haven't used it yet. I’m more annoyed that the assembly of this product didn’t come with clear instructions. The QR code showed no directions of the ACTUAL. process of attaching the “spring form” screws to attach the cooler to the stand. The tools that were included served NO purpose at all. Even to attach the cooler in the marginal way we did required 2 people (4 hands). It would have been exceedingly helpful to have had the eyes of an eagle and hands the size of a fly. We found it impossible to keep the spring in the assembly. All of the assembly pieces hit the floor a minimum of once to 5 times. When we eliminated the springs, it helped some, but due to the size of the screw head being too small to hold to the orifices of each piece together with Pugh falling through the use of the “spring holder” was a forced hand.

This laptop stand has much better flexibility than those I’ve used in the past. Ready to give the old ones to a new user! I like that there are two adjustment points and a turntable for movement. That way I can get my camera angle just right for meetings. I use an older laptop provided by my work and some tasks really make it get hot. I can use the cooling fan when I know I will need it and it keeps the laptop fan from kicking on so much. It is well weighted and will not tip over while having a smaller footprint on my desk than my previous one. The fan is usb powered and adjustable so you ca put it where it is needed for the specific laptop you have. I plug it into the power hub I use.

I just want to say that this cooler stand is one of the best I've used. It's sturdy, solid and balanced. The thermoelectric cooler has a spectacular cooling effect, especially for gaming laptops. I would say this stand is best suited for 14/15 inch laptops. I have an ASUS G14 and can clearly notice a difference in performance when using the cooler. The 5W mode is efficient for productivity task and daily work, and the 20W is better used under heavy gaming or rendering but it requires a separate cable + capable adapter. Another one up is for the vendor who sent me a brand new replacement (attached) when my cooler's right fan had developed a noticeable buzz to it. I thought they would send me a replacement part for the fan, but they sent me a whole new unit, exceeding my expectations with this product. Thank you!

I bought this for my sons and am really impressed by it's design. I have another from office but a different brand so I can do see the difference. The rotating feature is definitely a game changer I see how much my son enjoy this. Also this helps for his bodys posture. The semiconductor fan is unbelievable cold. ❄️. Overall feel is very sturdy .Defintely a Great buy!
