I don't know how well these will hold up, but they appear to be nicely made and comfortable to wear. What I like best about the socks is they are just slightly snug on the foot but nice and loose on the ankle. My ankles are not real thin, so I need socks that don't bind. Some socks that are made to be loose on the ankle are too loose on the foot and if the socks are too big your feet will have friction issues. So far these socks seems to be a perfect balance of fit.The Amazon page where I ordered these suggested that I should do the women's 8 to 12 size but when I ordered that size, they were way too big. The heel portion was at the back of my ankle. I wear a women's 9 wide shoe (sometimes a 9-1/2 wide). I purchased the women's 4 to 10 size socks and they are perfect for me.

Okay, I was never an athlete. Far from it. However, I did work out two hours a day, five or six days a week. That is, until I suffered severe injuries after being hit by a truck.Right now, I'm in the physical therapy stage. Since my body has gone from about 20,000 steps a day to probably about 500, my feet and ankles (and sometimes even my calves) swell. It feels terrible, and the swelling inhibits my therapy. Enter these socks. I have no bariatric, diabetic, or lymphedema problems, but I do have poor circulation in my ankles and feet, and these socks are meant to help with any condition that causes swollen feet. Sitting so much does cause my feet and ankles to swell.These socks are very easy to put on, especially when compared to usual compression socks. (Please take note, while these socks help with swelling, they are not meant to be compression socks, which are much tighter.)These socks are very comfortable, warm when you want them to be warm, but not too warm for summer; they have no uncomfortable seams, and are as soft as a cloud. They are so comfortable that I often sleep in them, though you don't need to because gravity isn't exerting its force on your body fluids when you're lying down. It won't hurt you to sleep in them, and they are so warm and comfy, I find they help me sleep.The only problem I have with these socks is that they are made for people who have non-athletic calves. As someone who used to exercise - and hike - regularly, I do have muscular, athletic calves. The socks are a little tight around my calves, and very tight if I pull them up to my knees. (I usually turn them down so they rest at mid- to high-calf range.) This would definitely have been a five star review had they not been so binding at the top. (That can cut off circulation, and you don't want that.) I suppose I really need "extra wide" socks, but then I'm afraid there won't be enough compression to keep my feet and ankles from swelling.If you don't need an actual compression sock, and if your calves and legs are quite slim, I recommend these socks highly. They are, by far, the most comfortable I've ever worn.

I don’t understand how they work, but they work. I have a pair of shoes that are supposed to be my size and feel comfortable, but walking around in them gave me a blister on my heel almost immediately, every time I wore them. I didn’t even know blister socks were thing but I found these somehow and ordered them and they’re fairly thick. They seem a little large for my shoe size which is about a 9 1/2. But they keep the shoes from giving me a blister. I haven’t walked miles and miles in them or anything but so far I’ve tried them out twice and walked farther than I ever had before in the shoes and no blisters. It is seriously magic.

These fit well, appear to be nicely constructed and are comfortable. Happy with the purchase.

The socks are not one size fits all. While they are comfortable the heal is almost off my heal. I wear a size 8 and these are definitely more like a size 10-11.

...but here we are. These socks are soft, cushiony (it wasn't a word, but now, thanks to these socks, it is) and comfortable! I wore them while breaking in new boots, and was still comfortable! They don't scrunch or bunch or slip. They aren't overly bulky but are cushy enough to protect from blisters when breaking in new boots, and it isn't a puzzle to untangle layers when they come out of the wash because they're just one layer. The top half is sort of knit like a sweater, and gets snagged on jewelry easily, but if that's the worst thing I can say well then, alright.

I’ve ordered these before and the quality has remained good. They are warm and comfortable. I wear a 6 1/2 shoe and ordered the smallest sock size which is still a bit big. Not sure why socks don’t come in individual sizes.

I walk in docs every day and these socks make it pain free. They’re very soft and keep my feet warm in the winter. I don’t regret this purchase at all :)
