I just scrubbed one in hot water with soap (in a sink) and the image didn't wash off or get damaged. Having said that, they ARE wood so don't know how they would fair after repeated washings in a washing machine. (We are using them in a craft project, not on clothing.)

Can you put these through the laundry?

Washing clothes in the laundry will not damage the buckle, and the buckle will not lose color and breakage to hurt the clothes

just a wild guess 35 some designs there are 4 or 6 some just two. alot. there were about 4 that didn't have a mate

The back side is plain. No design on it
