Microplane Master Series Wood Handle Stainless Steel Frame Extra Coarse Blade Cheese Grater

Love this product. IT does a great job, is easy to hold, and comes with a protective safety cover. It's of very high quality and I love to support the fact that they are manufacturing it in the USA. I would highly recommend.

There are many graters to choose from, but I really liked the look of this one and the fact that it can be eaily stored. Loved the dark wood that complemented my walnut cut block. I also bought the coarse grater and intend to buy the finer grater as well. My only comment is that the wood handles between the coarse and extra coarse graters is not exactly the same.

I find this unacceptable considering the price. See photo for the failure.UPDATE: Microplane customer service is excellent. I maintain the product has a fundamental design flaw, but they are responsive to replacement requests. You just have to fill out a form and send a photo of the failure. I got my original replaced, and now that replacement broke, but they are sending a replacement for THAT one too. I effectively have a lifetime annual free grater plan as they break, basically.

I love this grater and so does my husband. Beats the heck out of the box graters. I have been very happy with all my Microplane products! I have the vegetable peeler and the foot file. You can't go wrong with their items.

The absolute best. Watch your fingers, but if you want effortless manual grating this guy is your man.

After my second microphone lost its handle (stainless exterior, plastic core) mid cheese block, I decided I needed something more sturdy. Although it is rougher to hold, this wood and metal handle is up to regular use for any family who has bid pre-shedded cheese farewell.
