Quality pomade
This is my daily pomade. Keeps hair in check and the castor oil reduces hair loss, a bit. Highly recommend, not too shiny gloss and scent less.

The only product that works
I've tried so many brands on my hair from cheap to expensive brands that you can get with a cosmetology license. I'm Filipino with black coarse hair so the majority of hair products are marketed toward the type of men who aspire to be in a boy band. I've even created a cocktail of other products to get that exact result I would like. My hair has slept around; I mean, it has been with all sorts or hair goop. But for some reason, I keep coming back to Axe's Clean Cut Look.It has a shine that is subtle but brings out the black back in my stack. It molds my hair to shape I want without having it turn into a violent hedgehog. Lastly, I do like how it doesn't leave a whirlwind of dander like Edward Scissorhands shaving a frozen masterpiece. My only gripe, which is a major inconvenience, is if it gets into your eyes then get ready to suffer the wrath of Tobasco in your eyes. This stuff stings if you get it in your eyes. Whether it's from wiping your sweat after a long day of glass blowing, or taking a shower and moving to the tune of Flashdance then you might as well be maced in the face. This is the only brand I buy and the only Axe that blows my sax.

Best pomade!!
This is my favorite pomade I've tried so far. It doesn't give you a helmet head like the strong hold pomades do. It gives just enough hold to keep my hair slicked back and in place with some shine but not so much that my hair looks greasy and wet. If you look closely at the pomade it looks like it has sparkles in it but this doesn't show up in your hair and I have light brown hair. I use this with a little bit of hairspray and my hair stays all day through a 14+ hour day while working in a hospital. It also keeps my hair in place fairly well underneath my motorcycle helmet and underneath my scrub caps.

Worked great for my hair
Let me start by saying that I almost always read review before I buy a product. Unfortunately, I already knew this product, so I went ahead and purchased without reading the reviews. I assumed, like others, that there were going to be 3 jars included in the package. Amazon sells several other Axe Hair products for similar prices and they all include 3 jars. However, this product definitely is for only one jar.I didn't read the reviews because I already knew that I liked this product. I have shorts, straight hair that probably isn't too thick or thin. This product works great to give it a slightly messy look. Another review had it right, though - it works better with a little moisture, because the product is pretty thick.Edit: It looks like Amazon has fixed this issue (they now explicitly say 3 jars, but they are still charging the same price). Therefore, I am modifying my original review to 5 stars because I do like the product.

Best low end pomade!
My husband uses this everyday. I get a 3 pack each month he uses it so often.He has found that it is one of the only pomades that don't tangle - easy to work with - hold and subtle shine - EASY WASHOUT.I have tried to buy him "nicer" pomade but he always comes back to this one. We have had some HORROR experiences with other brands. This one does the trick and I can assure you it doesn't have an "axe-y" smell to it. I can only smell it if I am sniffing his head, even then it is mild.

Great product! Works exactly like you want it to!
Holds my hair in place all day without being stiff and crusty like some hair product.After it sets and dries (in about a minute), I brush my hair once, and its soft again, but holds all day.
