Seed Needs Wildflower Seeds Butterfly and Hummingbird Mix 2 Ounce Bulk Pack

I planted these hummingbird and butterfly flower seeds last year, and they grew very well. The flowers were beautiful, colorful, and attracted plenty of butterflies and hummingbirds to my garden. Germination was good, and the plants were easy to grow with basic care. I was very happy with the results and would purchase these seeds again. Highly recommend for anyone looking to create a pollinator-friendly garden.

Pros: Great price considering I used less than half the packet here. Easy to grow. Honestly I don’t take care of them, EVER. I’ve never watered, trimmed them etc and they look pretty healthy. I didn’t even plant the seeds or use any soil. I just tossed them onto a little patch of dirt that was already there. So pretty Cons: It took them a little while for them to grow and bloom, but maybe it was because I never took care of them. It haven’t attracted any hummingbirds or butterflies but maybe it’s because of where I live. Idk I would recommend and buy again!!!

Absolutely beautiful. Scatter the seeds and magic happens in a few weeks. Not every flower shown in the package grew, but the zinnias, marigolds and cosmos did very well.

They sprouted right away and the flowers had large stems. So far doing well in full sun, very little variety tho

I typically have bad luck with wildflower seed blends, but these have grown more easily than the kinds I’ve had in the past. I scattered a handful of these in an empty space in my garden bed. I watered them about once daily for the first couple of weeks and then kind of just left them. We had some rain a few days in between, but not much. They are in full sun most of the day, so I think that has helped them grow well. These pictures show how much they’ve grown in 37 days after they were first planted, and they’re doing well! I’ve purchased from Seed Needs in the past and have been very happy with their products. I definitely recommend this mix for full sun areas and some regular watering to get them started, but it also takes a bit of patience before they produce. Update: They are doing super well! They haven’t been blooming a ton because we haven’t had much rain I think, but some have started to bloom and more are on the way. I have barely touched them since planting them other than watering daily when first planted and then trying to water them weekly since they’ve gotten bigger. Mostly I’ve been neglecting them though and they’ve been doing just fine. Update 2: Got super tall - maybe around 5 feet tall! So, I pruned them where I could and that encouraged them to split at the cut and make more blooms. I barely touched them after they were established and they did great. They were still going strong all through October and finally died after we had a hard freeze. I’m excited to try these seeds again next year! I still have a ton left in the package - probably used 1/4 or so on this section seen in pictures.

Good for garden

Sadly we ended up with most of these being weeds. Some flowers came up but only 2 types. We decided to create a new 2m x 2m area in the garden just for these seeds. All new soil etc. The seeds quickly started growing then about 2 to 3 weeks in to the growth we notices lots of them were weeds.

I bought these to use with the memorial envelopes that I purchased on Amazon as well & we handed them out to people to plant some seeds in memory of my Mom. Good variety & amount & perfect for what we used them for. Good price too compared to the small amount I could find in the stores.

Bad quality. Did grow nothing but weed.
