it is glass and can brake in shipping
i have ordered a few of these site glasses in the past and never had a problem, but I did get one that was broken in shipping. And the seller was very quick to fix the problem. They are very well built and work flawlessly

Excellent quality
This sight glass is used for checking the gas dryer vent filter, when the filter is covered by lint, I can see and take the filter out for cleaning, it might be overkill, but it’s functional for the purpose.

Heavy Duty!
This looks and feels like it should cost way more! It is heavy and built solid. The finishing/polishing on the stainless steel is top notch. Pressure rating is 120lbs! I'm very happy with this for my dry hopper.
