NORTIV 8 Men's Waterproof Lightweight Hiking Boots

I've been pleasantly surprised by these NORTIV 8 hiking boots. I spend a lot of my free time hiking in the mountains of North Georgia, and most of my hikes are between **6 and 8 miles** over rocky, uneven terrain with plenty of elevation changes. Many of the trails I hike also require crossing streams or navigating muddy sections, so I needed a boot that could handle a variety of conditions. So far, these boots have been outstanding. Right out of the box, they were comfortable with very little break-in period. The cushioning has been excellent, even after spending several hours on the trail. The ankle support is just right—secure enough for rough terrain without feeling stiff or restrictive. The traction has also impressed me. I've hiked over loose gravel, exposed tree roots, rocky trails, wet leaves, and creek crossings, and the boots have maintained solid footing throughout. I haven't experienced any slipping that made me question my footing. One of the biggest reasons I purchased these boots was the waterproof protection, and they've lived up to my expectations. I've crossed several shallow streams and walked through wet grass and muddy areas without ending up with wet feet. That's a huge plus when you're several miles from the trailhead. Another thing I've appreciated is how lightweight they feel compared to some heavier hiking boots I've owned. After hiking 6 to 8 miles, my feet don't feel as fatigued as they have with bulkier boots. For the price, I honestly think these boots offer exceptional value. Are they built exactly like a $180 premium hiking boot? Probably not. But for casual to moderate day hiking, they've performed far better than I expected and have given me plenty of confidence on the trail. If you're looking for a comfortable, waterproof hiking boot for day hikes, state parks, mountain trails, or weekend adventures without spending a fortune, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these. So far, they've exceeded my expectations, and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I dont normally take the time to type up product reviews but this purchase is worth it. Ive been in Construction my whole life and always spent the money on Merrills or some other big brand name. I have also tried cheaper boots from time to time and basically 100% of the cheap boots were terrible and i alway returned or tossed them after time. So I thought I'd take another chance on these Nortiv 8 work boots and was blown away. These fit awesome and are flexible. I put a Dr Sholls heal pad in them and they are my new favorite work boot for the 3rd of the price.

They fit to size. I was very happy with my first order and they wore in nicely and had a pretty good life span, so ordered another pair. Gave only a 4 because the material did break down after some time near the bending points but I’m not easy on my shoes. Would order again!

I bought the boots for the 'advertised' waterproof feature, as I was taking a trip to Iceland and wanted something that would hopefully work without costing a lot. These boots turned out to be an excellent purchase and were comfortable for the hiking we did, some walking around the base of waterfalls, behind one and even a few seconds of standing underneath one getting soaked! My feet stayed dry throughout all that I encountered on the trip and so I'd have no hesitation recommending these as a cheaper alternative to higher-priced boots out there.

These are perfect for my work in auto detailing. I spend a lot of time on my feet and around water, so waterproof, lightweight boots are a great fit for what I do. Very happy with them and would definitely recommend them!

I’ve bought many pair of boots. I usually buy DeWalt boots or caterpillar boots but let me tell you these boots are 100% bad ass and I’m gonna buy another set because they’re so cheap. These things are built so good I swear I feel like I’m wearing my DeWalt boots. They’re so sturdy and comfortable. They’re my new favorites. I’m not joking. I’m gonna buy another pair because you know what happens when he likes something. It goes away by these I promise you’ll love them.

These boots were for my husband. He said they are very comfortable and they will like good with most outfits. I really like them. He walks all day long at work and he said they are great, not heavy and he really likes the color.

Bought in August of 25. I just took them out of service because they are ripped at the seams on the outside and inside of boots. They have fallen apart at tge front where your foot would bend. I gotta say they were comfortable boots. I had to change out the insole to those amazon pillow orange soles . You could easily wear them for 10 hours no problem. The durability wasn't there. They started ripping in December . I shoe goo'ed them and then silicone the seams but eventually it broke free If you don't wear them everyday like I do , maybe they will last but there is better options out there.
