Can you still make your lost phone ring like the other KeySmart devices?

not that I've been able to figure out. I've tried the old method from the original Key|Smart and that just puts it in the pairing mode, doesn't make your phone ring.

If I locked my keys inside the car, I’ll be able to unlock it from my phone

It just lets you know where your keys are. It doesn’t let you control any of your car functions.
