If you are into hard, rugged warrior workouts this book is for you.
Even though I am well into my senior years and have more than 7 decades of training in numerous martial arts and warrior fitness programs, (Judo, Jujitsu, Karate-D, Boxing, Wrestling, Circuit training, Tactical Aerobics, weight training, Military/SEAL exercise programs and many others) I am always seeking to challenge myself.I had read previous books by this author and when I saw this 232-page soft cover book, (Warrior Workouts volume 2: 100 challenging workouts by Stewart Smith, CSCS, and USN (SEAL) on Amazon for a great price I purchased it.I have read several books by this author in the past and loved them. This book is no exception. I fully and sadly admit that because of many age-related issues I could not do all the routines in this book; however, with just a little modification I created an intense six day a week routine from the exercises explained in this fantastic book.If you love hard, intense, challenging workouts this is a must book to read.Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Chair/Seated Tai Chi/Qigong/Yoga stretching for seniors and the physically challenged).

Lots of repeats.
Lots of workouts reused from the original version. Not a fan of the organization by season. Would be ok if it had a glossary as well to locate workouts by type (i.e. lower body. Upper body, full-body, cardio, etc...)

Outstanding
Look no further. This is just as good as the first.

Steward is a progressive trainer
I pre ordered this book as soon as i came out based on Volume 1. This Volume is different because he created a year long plan to keep the workouts organized and efficient. He calls this Periodization. Also, he is a progressive trainer saying "We are constantly adding in new elements such as kettlebells, weight vests, TRX, tires, sledgehammers, sleds, crawls, and carries to enhance our program each year." But Stewart is consistent with delivering tough, brutal workouts to keep you engaged.
