Sure, I think it would work fine with any liquid lotion or gel that can be dispensed through a pump.

It gets very warm. For your hands no but if it touches you anywhere else it feels hot.

Can this be used for KY liquid with your partner?

I would imagine you could use this to warm any liquid. It might not make thicker liquids as warm as thinner liquids, but you should be fine. This is a great warmer!

Not sure I understood the description. Can the temp be set for a long period (1-2 hours) or by a timer and it shuts off after the set time ?

The unit is on or off. No timer and no thermostat to set the temp. Mine is over a year old and is great.

So far appears to be a good quality. Keeps contents warmer than plastic. Hopefully it will prove to be sturdier than the plastic bottles.
