2nd Update after 2 months: Brilliant. After two months of continuous use I can confirm that my football boots have been cured of all odours and don't smell at all. On that basis I would recommend them. UPDATE: Originally I said these didn't seem to do much for smells but I left them in my football boots for a week after that and when I went to put them on I noticed the smell had completely gone. I wore them the same day and when I got home I noticed there was a slight smell and they were quite wet so I put the Ninjas back in and the next day they were completely dry and no smell! I've updated my review to 4 stars as a result. Initial Review: I bought these to put in my football boots which had started to become a little bit smelly. I wouldn't say they were bad, they just smelt a bit if you stuck your nose in them. Anyway, I put these in on a Sunday and took them out on Wednesday and they smelt just the same, so there you go. In terms of drying out shoes, my boots were a bit wet from hot feet after my game so I put the Shoe Ninjas back in the shoes when I got home and they do seem to have dried out pretty quickly, but I can't say they wouldn't have done that anyway now that we have the heating on. I like the environmentally friendly nature of them, and I'd much prefer to use something like this compared to sprays and chemicals etc and perhaps if you have brand new shoes and use them from the outset they might eliminate odours but for pre-existing problems they don't seem to do very much.

I was sceptical about it, but thought I would give it a go.....My work trainers were getting a bit sweaty so I decided to give these a go. I placed them inside my trainers at 3pm until 7.30am on the first night and there wasn't any change, straight away thought it was all a gimmick. But carried on using them for a few days, and slowly but surely the sweaty trainer smell has all but disappeared. I would recommend these, but it won't work overnight. Give it at least a week for them to work. I found it best to slide them all the way in to the shoes for them to start working. Great product

This product has prevented my rooms from being haunted by the stench of a long day's work, that's for sure but as far as what was advertised to me, it falls short. Even with regular foot hygiene, I don't know if my shoes and insoles are too far gone for this product fails to re-deodorise the shoes and prevent smells. I regularly recharge my charcoal pouches in the sun during the day when I'm out, and I'm sure this allows them to keep preventing the smells from escaping from the shoe once inserted, however, I am disappointed that it doesn't give protection for the next day and reverses the issues I've begun to have. If you're looking for a fix, this product isn't it, but if you're looking for something to help your co-inhabitors stop complaining about your smelly shoes, it does the job.

Wearing my work boots for 9hrs 5 days a week makes them stink rotten, It has to be the boot material because my trainers and other shoes don't stink like my work boots do. After a day at work I take my boots off and slip these Shoe Ninja's into the boots and the stink goes away, They work so good that you don't have to leave your boots outside or on a window ledge. I live in a flat and these go in the bathroom and even with the bathroom door fully open there is no stench. I sometimes place the sachets in the sun to recharge them, Every morning before I put on my boots I have a quick smell of them and all I smell is the Shoe Ninja's, They really are brilliant and kick out the stink. I will be buying these again once they stop working. Oh and the free gift is cool, nice sharp nail clippers, Many thanks.

Literally does nothing. Has no scent, doesnt remove scent. Waste of money.

Decent one . Helping a lot with odor issues

Have bought a few pairs over time. They work really well. But don't need anymyfree nail clippers!!!!!

My son's baseball cleats had been put in a plastic bag when they were damp from sweat and had a horrible odor. I had no idea if they could be salvaged, so I tried putting Shoe Ninjas into them and it helped dramatically. Wow, almost entirely eradicated the odor. I've left the cleats in the garage a few weeks with these stuffed into the toe part of the shoe and I'd say the odor is 95% gone. Hopefully in another week or two they'll be odorless or close. Highly recommend!

Desafortunadamente, mi experiencia con el desodorante de zapatos de carbón natural ha sido muy decepcionante. A pesar de las promesas de eliminar los olores no deseados, este producto simplemente no cumple con su función. Después de varios días de uso, no noté ninguna mejora en el olor de mis zapatos. Incluso después de aplicarlo regularmente, los malos olores persistieron. Es frustrante invertir en un producto que no ofrece resultados, y en este caso, siento que mi dinero ha sido malgastado. No recomendaría este desodorante de zapatos a nadie que busque una solución efectiva para eliminar los olores.

I just got these a few days ago and they already seem to be taking the stink (even just residual stink) out of my shoe collection. The bonus part is how absolutely full they stuff these things, I think they plays a large role in their efficacy. I’ve had several other brands that are either oddly-shaped or not very full (and thus kind of limp) that didn’t work great. I’ll likely buy a second small pack just for my gym bag. Didn’t need the nail clippers but free is free!

In a few days you will be able to walk into your front hall and breath....ahh...no stinky shoe smell...lol
