So easy, especially for those that lack coordination
Ignore the paint finish in the purple color photos - that's not what this review is about anyways. For being short nails in the description, these are pretty long for me. I think cause I have short nail beds. I can say that these nails are the best in the DIY category for ease and longevity. Ive tried polygel and press on nails cause my real nails are weak due to years of acrylic use. Alongside the Aillsa gel glue and UV light, it takes me less than 20 mins to do both hands. I've actually done a friend's nails at a bar while sipping on our drinks. * Finding the right nail size - 2 mins max (the nails are organized by size so finding the right size is easy). I lay them all in the order of placement. * I put a layer of gel glue on both my nail and the nail tips. I let it rest separately for it to get tacky, then I use a clip to hold the nail tip against my nails - 3 mins. Make sure there is no air in between nail and tip. Then put my entire hand under UV light for 2 mins. This means I do each hand in roughly 5 mins. So total 10 mins for both hands. * Then I normally use color street nail strips for the design/paint which takes me about 3-8 mins. I prefer this since it comes out looking so professional with no drying time, more complex designs, and no UV light needed. NOTE: I did get the gel nail polish, which is what I have in the picture and that took me about 5-10 mins for both hands which includes 2 x 2 mins UV light time. I definitely need more practice with gel nail polish. The nails lasted through multiple hand washing, cleaning house, showers, running fingers through my long hair, typing, etc. for about 10 days. It could have probably lasted longer but I lost one nail messing with my zipper hurriedly so I used the opportunity to swap out my entire Christmas design set for these shown in the photo. They're not to hard to remove. I soak them in nail polish remover for about 5 mins then I use a sharp nail file to pry them off my natural nails. These purple ones are my 3rd set put on January 1st. The gold ones are my 1st set put on December 3rd. I used to pay $50-$100 dollars for manicure, acrylic, and gel nails every 2 weeks so this is well worth it.

Perfect fit, not as long-lasting
2nd update: I tried a few other brands and none fit my as well with no filing necessary. Although I only use 4 sizes, so a lot goes to waste. But U have small hands and very round cuticle beds and these are the only brand that don't require filing at all except a buff when I put them on. I recently tried another brand and they said medium but we're way narrow and so long that I had to clip them (also almond medium). So I'm bumping these back to 5 stars, but you need a lot of glue to keep them on several weeks. And pressing them for several minutes - after gluing makes all the difference. UPDATE: Not only do they break horizontally, they also chip fairly frequently (not the color, the entire nail). I bought 3 boxes when they were on lightning deal. So I'll be using them awhile, the fit is perfect but the quality isn't. Much more high-maintenance than my previous brand. I cant get through a week without having to reglue or replace one. But like I said, the fit is perfect, no filing required at all for me. And I can go longer or shorter with these. My suggestion is to use a ton of glue. But if it breaks off where the nail bed ends, you will be struggling to get the rest of it off. NOT for large hands. I had previously left a 5 star reviews. I've been wearing these a few months now. Previously only used BTARTBOX but they didn't have this almond shape. These are an absolute perfect fit for my small nails (I wear XS gloves and only one size is too big so large nailed people might want to try something else). I didn't care about the etching, I stil buff my nails good before using. I use the same glue I used with the other brand that last 2-3 weeks. Some of these will pop off after only a few days applied the exact same way. But the part I don't like is that many have broken - not chipped) horizontally, right at the line wear the etching stops. So pretty much the full tip beyond my nail bed. This has happened after only a day of applying, which makes getting the rest of the nail off my nail bed very difficult. I do love the shape though- others I've had to trim down because I type all day but these are the perfect length and look very natural once painted. I used a base coat, the regular non-gel polish followed by Seve Viche quick-dry top coat (you can apply this stuff to wer polish and it dries it all in under a minute. Never have to touch up the polish. I get less wear overall. About 7-10 days and usually have to reapply during that time several times because they popped off. I thought I would hate that they're on a strip and not already loose, but having them on a strip makes choosing the right size easier- just go down the line holding sizes over your nails. I also don't like that they're clear. I've used the "natural" kind from BTARTBOX and they look good without polish m these need to be polished right away. I'd fine 3.5 stars if I could. Love the fit, but not the same quality. Get rid of the etching and they probably would not break off where it ends. Use the pink glue here on Amazon, it last the longest.. NOT kiss glue. I used to be able to wear nails until the cuticle grew out in 2-3 weeks with the same glue. These don't glue on the same even though I use the same process (glue on the nail itself and a good amount on my natural nail). There should be enough so there is excess that squeezes out that you need to wipe off IMMEDIATELY. Then press down hard (pinch) about 20 seconds and you're set. No UV light is required. It dries FAST. Anyway to summarize, great shape but not as long-lasting, break off horizontally if you hit them just right (and you will) and just don't glue on the same. I'll probably go back to BTARTBOX but those are bigger and loose in a box separated by size (which will end up mixed together) and I only use 3 of the 12 sizes. They're bigger than these and require more shaping. NEVER polish before gluing on. Because if you're using enough glue to last a few weeks, excess will get on the polish and you'll have to polish them again. I do keep 5 polished in my purse just in case one pops off when I'm out and I can't find it. Easy fix.

Premium Stuff
These are the best tips I've used. They don't squeeze or squish to the nail, they flex just enough and retain their shape when glue is applied. The length is perfect for me, just short enough to be actually usable and long enough to be elegant and easy to paint. They take glue very well, bonding almost instantly. It's important to get them in place fast. But once they're stuck, they really don't want to budge. Luckily, particularly hot water + oil softens them enough to remove without too much force. The texture also makes polish application a breeze! I love the pre-base coat, it seems to work better than normal coats I can use on my natural nails. However, be warned that if you make a mistake and need to use acetone to remove polish from the nail, the base coat with come off, too. It's not a part of the texture of the nail itself, it's a coating that comes off with acetone. (So you *can* remove it if you'd like) Some of the highest quality nails I've ever used!

Good Variety, Easy to Work With
These nail tips are easy to apply and the extra-short coffin shape is really nice for everyday wear. I like that they come in multiple sizes and include a storage box, which keeps everything organized. The matte finish helps gel adhere well. Overall, a solid set—just wish the plastic was slightly thicker.

Perfect for the shorty lovers
So beautiful and easy to use! Pre etching make prep so much easier and efficient. I love them! They’re sturdy. Not too thick to look unnatural, not too thin that they bend. You can use with nail glue or the uv gel glue. I use either or. Plenty of sizes! I will be ordering more.

More suited for shorter nail beds
The nails are a good quality but only work if you already have really short nails beds. My nail beds one on the medium to long side so these were too short to actually cover my full nail and I don't have much nail past my nail bed either. I had to return these and just file down the longer tips I already have

Great quality and Shipping Time
Nails are just as described. Love them! Quick shipping also. Recommend this product and seller! Did my set in the photo 8 days ago and they are holding strong! (I do use cured gel polishes on the nails.)

Wish I could give a HUNDRED stars!
I genuinely enjoy doing my own nails. What I’m not a fan of, is buying a whole pack of nails, & then finding out I can’t make an entire set out of them. ESPECIALLY if they were expensive. Aillsa has continued to check all the boxes. Inexpensive? Yes! Performs well? Yes! Looks beautiful? Yes! Fits my big fat thumbs? YES!!! Believe me when I say that I’ve tried every brand. Every single freaking one. And when I bought Aillsa for the first time, I honestly wasn’t expecting too much. But I was immediately happy when they fit ALL of my fingers! Sooo happy when they looked beautiful! Even more happy when they lasted! And over the moon when I tried their solid nail glue! That stuff is amazing! Works just as good as the much more expensive brands at a fraction of the cost. The ONLY thing that upsets me about it, is that I didn’t find it sooner!

Best I’ve tried so far
I ordered the medium coffin, application on myself and my daughter was super easy and really comfortable. Nails went on without any air bubbles, and the sizing is really great, I have narrow nail beds and other brands typically don’t fit well. So long as these are durable I will be ordering the medium almond next. **Edit: I ordered almond and added a fifth star. I’m really pleased with this brand.

pretty good!
they’re really nice tbh. if you don’t want them super long, you can easily file them. i find the glue is a little weak, but that may just be me. i think they’re durable to an extent, but if you genuinely want to use them for everyday things, they may fold a bit. all around good though!

Big curve
The texture to them was nice and helped nail polish stick, however the tips had quite a curve to them making it difficult to hold them in place while curing with uv light

Perfect
This came sooooo fast. These are the first of many that fit perfect on my nails. Don’t have to file the inside of them before putting them on. I will definitely buy these again.
