A good choice
Best strimmer cord I have used. Tough but easy to work with and doesn't break easily.

Strong stuff, but with some compromises
This is much stronger than conventional round-section strimmer lines. I use a Stihl FS-50 and this out-performs Stihl's own-brand line for strength, but that's only half the story. What you get is a strimmer that can tackle some jobs that would otherwise need a brush-cutter. The compromise is that the bump-feed does not work as well, but this is easily solved by lubricating the reel with silicone spray and by manually feeding the line (i.e. depress and rotate the bump feed by hand and then pull the lines to extend). This sounds like a pain, but the line rarely breaks, so I simply extend it every 10 minutes or so if I'm cutting tough stuff. It doesn't entirely replace the brush-cutter and of course, because it's so strong, it could hurt when it breaks. I think it essential than you have a helmet and face visor (not just goggles) and decent boots with this sort of line. If you like to strim wearing flip-flops and shorts, don't buy this!

BEST strimming wire I have used and I've been strimming for 20 years. My 2nd Reel
Recently introduced to this wire. Its very durable and does a brillint job. You will need a powerful petrol strimmer (Mines Old Stihl FS450) to get the best out of it, and it will get through most things. Deals with very thick (10mm+) Bramble trunk stalks very well and for me its now my "GOTO" strimmer wire. Until I find something else this is the best. I use this with my bump feed spool (if you haven't got one, GET ONE) and it solves the problem of broken line most of the time, so you can just get on with the strimming. Also works a dream as a general purpose grass and nettle line. Good Value. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

By far the best strimmer line I've used!
Bought this after reading all the good reviews and I'm so glad I did! It's way better than anything I'd used previously and lasts so much longer. The first time I used it, it felt like I was using a different strimmer! I know that sounds strange but the line's so strong that it felt like the whole strimmer was more powerful (and our strimmer is powerful Ryobi) - I think it makes it vibrate slightly more due to the line being so tough but I could feel the difference in cutting power immediately. I cut mainly shortish grass with some weeds mixed in and we have 1.5 acres - the line lasts about 45-60 mins. When I'm doing the occasional 'tough' cutting (long thick weeds/pond reeds, etc) then it lasts less than that depending on how tough but far longer than any other line I've used. Not once have I 'lost' one of the ends totally, unlike all previous lines I've used when it seemed to happen all the time. I'd say this lasts at least 3, if not 4, times longer than other lines that are supposedly good quality. Just wish I'd discovered this sooner as it makes the job far easier and less annoying when you don't have to keep stopping!

Partially used spool.
Only giving 3 stars based on the quality of the product! I have used this line in my business for nearly 3 years, It is the best ive used by far so safe to say im happy with the product ! The issue is with fulfillment! The spool that was sent to me was clearly used, id say 25 - 30% was missing and you could see that a good chunk of it was badly rewound on to the spool, the spool itself was also damaged! Amazon's response was either to send it back for a full refund ( bear in mind that from experience the refund woukd take a lot longer than the 2-4 hours to hit my account ) then when I did order i would have the bank Holiday to contend with so probably Wednesday or thursday before the replacement arrived so that wasnt an option! Or they would refund £7 as a partial refund ! Pretty sure 25% of £60 is more than £7. In the end I had no choice but to keep it as I need it to continue working and not lose 5 days. Again this is no reflection on the quality of the line itself, I will continue using the line but may have to source it from a different place in future unless amazon get a handle on people returning half used products. This is not the first time this has happened either, I was recently sent a half empty 1kg spool of 3d printer filament.

Klare Kaufempfehlung!
