Good on hand snacks

The portion size is quite generous. It includes a small dried vegetable packet, the beef flavoring and a sauce packet. There is room in the bowl to add other ingredients like meat or veggies. The texture of the noodles is good. The flavor is rather bland even after adding the seasoning packets that come with it, but can be fixed up with other spices, soy sauce, etc.

I can’t believe I’m reviewing instant ramen. This is a cheap product for 6 large bowls of ramen for the same price as the 24 pack you cook on the stove. You are better off with the 24 pack because it has better flavor and noodles than the bowl version. The bowl has a strange texture to the thin noodles. The sauce packets are trying to compete with other Asian offerings (like Korean Shin ramyun). The water line inside the bowl is really hard to see and you might add more water by accident making it very watery. The soup itself is what gives it the 3 Star along with the overall experience wasting my time when I could have made Mi Goreng or prepared Shin Ramyun. Nissin is losing their identity by trying to be something they are not. Skip this and get the 24 pack and have better noodles and soup. Forget the microwaveable convenience in this bowl ramen.
