Initially I was very pleased with this lead. Seemed comfortable to hold and the clasp seemed very sturdy. I have a nervous cocker spaniel and as I am short (5ft) I didnt want a lead which was too long so got the shorter 60cm version which seemed just right.However, after only one week, the lead started to fray just above where the lettering is embroidered on. Within a week, it snapped completely whilst out on a walk which caused me great stress as we were on a main road and I had no way of keeping her controlled. Luckily, she is well trained and came to "heel" and I had to terminate the walk and get home by using field paths as best I could. Very disappointed with this product. I have had to stitch it together so that I can use it while I order something else but I shall be returning for a refund as not fit for purpose.

Works well to alert other walkers etc that the dog is not friendly on a walk (for some reason the barking, growling and a muzzle just weren't obvious enough). 1.2m is a standard lead length, we chose a 1.8m as it is long enough for the dog to have a bit of extra freedom of movement for running/playing/toilet while being close enough to pull up to your side if needed. I would have preferred a latch that locks like a lock-safe carabina but that is just a personal preference rather than any issue with the product.

Got this one and the one that says Nervous (yellow) for my rescue dog, both the same male. They are both sturdy and comfortable to hold. I attach one to the front of the harness and the other to the top and I have a really good control of the dog. They are both long enough to allow for loose leash walking as well. PeopleWhere I live seem dog savvy and respect the message they send out and keep their dogs on leash when we go pass and give the dog a space so he doesn’t feel threatened. Great product!

Brought the 2ft lead I had the 4ft but it was too long for my liking kept having to wrap it around my hand and its too thick for that. The 2ft is perfect for my small jrtxchi she is about 45cm tall for reference. She doesn't need a long lead as always walks to heel so for me it's perfect no wrapping around hand needed. It's just long enough to still have slack when walking to heel

Seemed very good quality and easy for other people to see that they need to keep their distance. I had to return it as another product was more suitable -nervous rather than do not approach. Refunded very quickly and bought the other lead

Very clear wording only thing in my case needs to say blind nervous and cautious on the harness due to him being old perhaps this could be recommended for future buyers

Had to up grade to Caution from Nervous as people still think they can shove their hands and faces in my dogs face! Excellent products. We have the harness aswell. Strong, secure.

Bought this along with the collar and harness. Very sturdy, no amount of pulling will tear the lead. The handle is padded for extra comfort.
