The cable appears to be well made. It was tested on two separate PC's, one Linux and the other Windows. The cable works fine on both PC's with 3 different budget USB cameras. I found that on adding an extra 5m of passive cable between the end of the active cable and the camera, the camera still worked. So I could extend by a total of 15m. 5m of passive cable is regarded as maximum for reliable USB connection. Note the cable was not tested on a more energy - consuming device such as a hard drive. The cable arrived quickly.

We used this to plug in a printer that was quite far away, and it worked a treat, we've only had it for a few days so can only give it 4 stars now.

I used this after moving the computer to the living room (for VR space) just to run back to the spare room for a keyboard / mouse, along with Amazon Basics HDMI cable for the monitor. This way I can still use the computer when the other half wants to watch TV. I was going to go for the UGREEN 10m cable with 4 port hub on the end, but a) I'm a man, left it a bit close to Christmas and that cable would have taken longer to arrive b) I already have a 4 port USB switch so I can flick between home computer and work laptop, so all I really needed was an extension cable. Seems like a decent quality cable and is working perfectly.

This was brought to connect a PreSonus USB guitar interface to a Mac via USB. The mac is a fair way from the interface. When I first plugged it into the CalDigit Thunerbolt expansion box into the USB-A port, there was a clicking on the headphones and I could see the power light flashing as if the power was being supplied quikcly on and off. I then put the cable into an unpowered USB hub that connects to the USB-C port rather than the USB-A port. The clicking disappeared and it works fine. I am not powering the extension cable other than through the USB port. I'm happy to blame other factors than the cable here, as it now works OK. Not cheap but cheaper than the StarTech one.

Ich verwende dieses Kabel in meinem Homestudio, um einen Presonus StudioLive Series III 24 R Mixer zwecks Multichanel Audiorecording (via USB 2.0) mit meinem PC (DAW) zu verbinden (ohne externe / zusätzliche Stromversorgung). Bei bisher gemachten Aufnahmen von bis zu 20 Chanels gleichzeitigt hat bislang alles 1A funktioniert. Keine Dropouts oder ähnliches. DAW und Mixer kommunizieren bidirektional einwandfrei. Ich konnte auch keine nennenswerte Latenz feststellen. Das Kabel, als auch das Gehäuse des Verstärkers machen einen guten und recht soliden Eindruck. Für den Live-Einsatz vermutlich nur bedingt geeignet, da Kunststoff. Im Studiobetrieb, wo man das Kabel 1x verlegt und vergisst, absolut OK.

Bonjour, Petit retour sur mon achat. Vivant à la campagne j’en avais marre de l’adsl et ayant un gros forfait téléphonique je me suis mis en tête d’utiliser la 4g de mon domicile. Pour ceux d’entre vous qui ont à l’esprit d’utiliser ce câble pour faire du partage de connexion par usb, je peux vous garantir que ça marche. En tout cas, le câble est vraiment super et semble de bonne facture pour plusieurs années.

Funktioniert super. Nutze ihn um aus dem Arbeitszimmer den PC pbee Kontroller zu steuern bzw. zu zocken. Habe noch 10m HDMI um vom Arbeitszimmer zum Fernseher im Wohnzimmer zu gehen. So konnten wir ohne verzögerung Hogwarts Legacy zocken. Klappt perfekt.
