Easy to install; inexpensive to replace
I think everybody on the planet who owns a boat or a trailer has backed a corner into an obstacle at some point in time. I am no exception and recently did just that. Looking at my options, to upgrade to LED style submersible lights was considerably more expensive and while they are brighter, they are no more impervious to breakage. So when I found this online and saw how little they cost, the decision was an easy one. Replacement was a very short and simple process. There are two bolts that mechanically attach the fixture to your trailer and there are two wires to electrically connect it. I used heat shrink and solder for the electrical connection for added reliability rather than depending on a crimp on butt joint that was likely prone to failure. I use my trailer in salt water so corrosion is also a consideration. Be aware there are different part numbers for the right and left tailight, though for the life of me I don't see why you couldn't just mount the opposite side upside down if you had two rights or two lefts.

Fantastic product I purchased from Amazon
Fantastic product I purchased from Amazon. It fit well, easy to install and works like a champ. I like it , no problem as of now, I recommend this to every one.

Good value.
Easy to install on an older double-check utility trailer. I used the existing wiring, and ended up wasting a lot of time as there was a poor ground. Recommend replacing the wiring harness st the same time. Lights are bright and effective.

Cheap and functional
Fairly rugged and a good buy for the budget minded boater. Worked well for one launch and pull-out so far. They are supposed to be waterproof but because they are incandescent lights I would still unplug the electrics to my trailer whenever they are immersed in water.

Great replacement light.
I recently bought a trailer that had a broken light. This replacement light was very simple to install. It only took a few minutes. Once installed it worked perfectly. A simple fix to your broken light problem. This is the one you want.

The light looks nice, and that's about it
The light looks nice, and that's about it. I purchased a pair of these and ran new wires for the trailer but didn't have a chance to use them until I got an old boat restored, which is about 4 months after the purchase date of these lights. First day try out, the left light would only blink dimly when emergency light is on. It does not work on running light or signal light. The right light works fine; however, I can see water sipping in after launching the boat. So I don't know how long it will last either.

Stopped working after first dunk
This light was very easy to install and looked nice at first. I have to give it one star because the main bulb failed after the first time I put the trailer in the water. The side bulb still works. I have yet to contact the company about warranty. I will update with how that goes.

tail lights.
These may be rated for underwater, but they are certainly not sesaled so they are waterproof. Water gets inside the light any time they are submersed in water. I haven't had the lights long enough to know how soon they will fail as a result of salt water incursion.
