L.A. COLORS 6 Color Eyeshadow, Earthy CES461

This eyeshadow is very easy to apply. It blends well and lasts for several hours. It is tiny enough to take with you and it is good for casual or formal occasions. I did not love the applicator, though. I used my own brush that offers more precision.

Perfect for brown eyes. The value of this deal is unbeatable. Hands down my favorite eyeshadow. The seller messed up and sent me a 3 pack and I got triple the value and was told to keep it even though i feel bad because it was worth so much more for the quality. Every color of this eyeshadow is smooth with great coverage. Easily blendable, flattering and doubles as a highlighter and is good for face contouring on the right skin tone. I am fair skinned but these colors will pop on anyone and everyone.

To start off, this product was very cheap and budget friendly so I was expecting there to be some let downs. For the price, I would say this is decent makeup. Now, do not be fooled by the selling pictures; the lightest eyeshadow is NOT white. It's more of a very pale skin tone. I uploaded pictures for your convenience. If you have a bit of a tan you can still make it work, but it is not white. Some of the other colors are definitely not quite as advertised, either. I've just got into makeup and am trying to build a small setup for myself on a budget. I prefer a very natural look: no cover up or foundation, powder, etc. I like just some "doe eye" makeup, maybe blush, and lip gloss. I was searching for a set of eyeshadow including white to help me achieve the doe eye look, thus purchased this. I'm satisfied with the look I got out of it since it is a very natural look, but I felt like I had to cake the lightest color on a lot to get it light enough. I included pictures of my first use. I am pleased that the colors don't seem to be just surface level, based on a quick scrape test I did. If they do end up being faded at the bottom, I will update this review. Overall, I give this product a 4/5 stars since it was a reasonable price for the quality, didn't give me a rash (and I have sensitive skin), but I'm not happy with the deception of colors advertised. **Edit: The eyeshadow is still holding true to my original description, however, I will note that after a few hours of wear, if you're wearing the lightest shade at the corners of your eyes like I do, it will start to clump up. The eyeshadow altogether doesn't last more than 6hrs, at most. I found that when I'm very active or outdoors it doesn't last for more than 4hrs.

Beautiful colors and pretty rich pigment, to give just the right amount of color without having to hit pan. Love the L.A. Color Brand of makeup, never disappoint, especially for the price. I don't use the supplied applicator when I usually apply my makeup but did use it to see if I would get more color faster using it, and no difference was experienced. I love lighter colors in the middle of my lid and under my brow, make for beautiful highlights, and the darker color at my outside corners of my eyes for a beautiful eye opening pop of gorgeous color. The deep purple is what really caught my eye initially. No pun intended. I've worn it every day since receiving it, just loving these colors so much. The texture is soft, and almost creamy like. It stays on all day and through the night but I'm not really doing much but sitting at my computer working. It has a nice portable size for taking on the go should I need to put it into my makeup bag or purse. The darker color also made for a very pretty eye liner with the proper lining brush I use to apply it. I love that its a nice soft hint of liner on my upper lid and I've even put liquid liner over the top which made the darker purple color shadow the liner for a very crisp, unique cat eye. it really stays put and removing it with a makeup wipe is easy.

Beautiful greens and blues, right? Yeah, this makeup gave me the blues! First of all, the beautiful green color you see in their photo? Well, maybe my palette was made wrong, because when I swiped my applicator across the green, the top green layer came off, and what was underneath was blue. A very pretty blue, but NOT the green it was supposed to be! Same thing happened with the lighter green color. Same thing--it magically turned into, BLUE! I swear, it was almost identical to the other blue. So I swiped the actual blue in the lower left corner, and guess what? It's blue! Almost the same blue as the 'green' colors were! I kid you not!! I have no idea why. The quality? Well, look at the brand. It's NOT Max Factor. But on a low budget, it is pretty good, if you like shimmery bold colors! Just don't get your hopes up like I did, with that green. Functionality--- these colors glide on and are vibrant! The white is white, the brown is a bronze and the darker brown is just a darker shimmery brown. Be easy with it, it goes on heavy if you're not careful. Longevity? As long as you don't drop your little palette, I'm sure it'll last you quite a long 6 months or so. I am a fan of a lot of their shimmery eye shadows. Especially when you are pinching pennies. Just remember--maybe mine was a mistake in production, but the greens were NOT green. Photo for proof provided.

Disappointed. The green colors were not the same green color on the top of the newly pallet of eye shadow.

This item is well pigmented and seems to last all day. Just don't have a heavy hand when you put it on. I love the colors.

It broke into pieces every time I tried using it. The colors are nice but isn't long lasting.

The plum color is very light and doesn’t match what’s shown on the site. I personally like very deep pigment, this one is like 5 shades lighter than what I’m used to wearing
