BRAVO Von Chef!!! This little mixer has KICK!, Turbo boost is a PLUS, though the speeds are already awesome & works beautifully without that feature. I use my mixer daily. For the price it's unbeatable. Highly prefer it to a larger KA expensive mixer. Light weight, makes it easy to use & store. Clean up is a breeze (nice thin blades) The beaters feel a bit less than sturdy, though seemed to be no issue getting through cold dough. Again, for the price, highly recommend. Intend to purchase a 2nd in case it gets discontinued. Never thought I would find one I love as much as my old Bravetti - FINALLY found one though, this is it! Love, love, LOVE my little red Von Chef Mixer. Unable to recommend this great little affordable mixer highly enough. If you're on the fence, jump!

I chose this mixer because of the good price point and for the stainless steel attachments (why don't more brands have this???). I ended up being very impressed with the product as a whole. The mixer itself is compact and lighter than my old one, which makes it easier to manage and store. Another feature I just love is that the first speed is actually slow, unlike most mixers I have used in my life. Imagine mixing liquids without splattering! One more bonus is that it operates at half the noise level of my old one. So far, I can't say enough good things about it!

This is my third or fourth try at replacing a hand mixer I got as wedding gift -- 35 years ago! -- finally died. And it is a success! The first replacement was really dangerous -- the on-off button was too soft, and so I found myself turning it on accidentally; I feel fortunate that I didn't lose finger. The second one had an eject button so well hidden that I had to go to the on-line owner's manual (there was no paper version included in the box). The third one never arrived. So... I am pretty happy with this product -- turning it on and off works appropriately; I can install and eject the beaters; the various speeds are find; I can stand it up on the counter between making additions to batter; and it's reasonably priced. What more can I ask?

I was going on a trip and wanted to make a cherry pie-cake when I got there. I knew my host didn't have a mixer, so I needed to bring my own. This little hand mixer was easy to assemble and I didn't even need to read the instructions to get baking! I used the mixer (which is a darling red color) to mix 2 sticks of butter & 1 cup sugar. It made the mixture light and creamy. I added 3 eggs and 3 cups of flour - still no problem for the mixer. And it was simple to clean up as well. Great product!

I got this to replace my 40-year old mixer that was beginning to give up the ghost. It's a good mixer - does the job well, and it's easy to clean. The grip is comfortable, and it's lighter than my old mixer. My only complaint with it is that it's not friendly to southpaws - the thumb-switch that controls the speed is set up for right-handers. I docked them two stars in the ease of use section for this.

This little mixer is great! The turbo button was worked great getting the cookie dough off the mixer. The attachments dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. Seems to be good quality but this was my first time using it... we will see if it still works next year. My first mixer lasted 20 years, 2nd 1 year, this one ... we will see. I like it a lot better than the main stays brand I bought from Walmart last year that stopped working. I thought about a bowl mixer vs a hand mixer. A place to store the mixer convinced me to go with another hand mixer.

Very nicely weighted mixer. Easy to hold. It is not very light. The reason For the 3 stars. As some people prefer light weight. This is not. For me, I rather have a heavier one. Easier for me to hold down in the bowl. Light ones tend to skip upwards when using. I like that you get a nice choice of mixing whips. However, for such a beautifully weighted mixer, I'm surprised at how flimsy the mixing whips are. No added support in the middle of the mixing blade. I could probably easily bend them with my hands. The dough hook makes me wonder how well it would work for bread dough or cookie dough since both are a stiff dough. It doesn't look as if it could mix it easily. The whip does works. I did use it on eggs to whip. Again, the whip is very light weight. However, most things you whip are light. So I'm not concern about this. I am keeping this because I have a larger mixer for heavy work. This is just for my simple cake mixes and eggs. It should last. I'm just disappointed that my cheap $10 mixer attachments are heavier then this one that I paid more for.

We've used this mixer for mashed potatoes and whipped cream. At first, during assembly, I thought I had a defective product but I like that the attachments have to attach a certain way. My kids use the mixer frequently, and this is helpful for them. At the same time, if one goes missing, it stinks because it would need a replacement. Easy to clean, so far it's sturdy, and easy to use. I don't have any issues with it at this time. I'd recommend it.

It's lightweight but powerful. I love using it.
