Brooks Men’s Glycerin Max Neutral Running & Walking Shoe

The Brooks Men's Glycerin Max Neutral Running & Walking Shoe performed amazingly during the marathon. The cushioning provided excellent comfort and shock absorption over long distances, and my feet still felt supported even after hours on the course. They have a soft ride without feeling unstable, which made running much more comfortable on both pavement and harder surfaces. The fit was secure with enough room in the toe box to avoid discomfort during the longer run, and the breathable upper helped keep my feet cool. I also appreciated how lightweight the shoes felt despite the amount of cushioning they provide.

I want to emphasize this: if I could give these more stars, I would. I am a loyal Brooks customer. Over the years I have had GTS, Ghosts, Glycerin and now I am OBSESSED with this model. Every year I make a new Brooks investment, because the improvements are noticeable each year. I want you to know that I am NOT a marathon runner. I am a 50+ year old woman who runs 25-ish miles a week, spends a lot of time on my feet at work, have a knee that will need replacing in the next few years, and bunions from my younger days spent in heels. I understand why these are deemed “illegal” in marathons. They have enough rocker to them to propel me to finish miles quicker and with less exhaustion. At roughly $200 a pair, these are literally the only shoes I can justify buying multiple pairs of. I have lots of shoes that are far more attractive, but they don’t stand a chance against these. If they had more colors I would have to have them. They do run a little more narrow than the others I’ve had, but they feel more secure than the Ghost Max. This is important to me to feel safe with the larger heel drop. I would rate these higher than the Ghost Max as well as the On Cloud Max . Bite the bullet an pop for the extra $50 over the aforementioned. You will forget about the extra money on your first run. I promise.

Loved these! Ended up returning but only because I ordered the wrong size but they were absolutely comfortable and look very cool. I’ve worn brooks a long time and their durability and fitness is second to none.

Outstanding shock attenuation. Top surfaces resist stains. Very comfortable.

I typically wear shoes and insoles that are hard and stiff. Due to ankle and back issues. Well I started a job that requires a bit of walking from my parking area. 1.1 miles to be exact. We'll after wearing boots and trucking all that way and more per day I started to have some severe foot issues and intense pain. Due to the impact and the strain. So I bought these along with other brooks shoes. These ones are a life saver. I wear an easy feet insole with them. But the shoes makes everything so purposefully soft and cushioned. The rebound is great as well. It helps so much with my walking gate especially on the treadmill. I probably wouldn't run in these myself, due to the lateral flex.

Best shoes I've ever purchased. Years and years of having tremendous foot pain and almost limping around after working all day on my feet are magically resolved. I can't suggest these enough to people looking for something to help w their foot pain. They take a day to get used to with the amount of lift they provide, but the comfort is 👌 My feet no longer hurt after standing on concrete floors for 10 hours a day. I can work a 12hr shift and feel completely fine. Its life changing. I wish I had gotten these sooner and will be a life long customer of brooks. I had so many people suggest hooka's w so many others talking about how they fall apart in less than a year. I've heard nothing but life long customers of brooks because of their quality, comfort and durability. I absolutely agree and am super happy w my purchase. They're showing no signs of wear and I've had them for over three months, i wear them every single day for most of the day. If you're on the fence.... get them. I absolutely guarantee you'll never look back

These brooks fit pretty true to size. They have held up the longest of any running shoe I have had recently. I have ran a marathon with these and have lots of training miles on them. They are comfortable. I don’t feel it has enough arched support for me. I had to get insoles to improve that.

Great shoes it should be brought back to production.

Great shoes, very comfy. I don’t run - i use them for everyday wear as I have severe arthritis in my midfoot, and these minimise any flexing. I use orthotics in them and so size up. Men’s size standard width (equivalent to a ‘D’) is the same as women’s wide fit shoes, which are hard to come by. Women’s standard width is only a ‘B’, so having wide feet I have to buy men’s footwear. They’ve been a lifesaver for me and I have several pairs. They’ve do get a bit mucky though!

The most comfortable shoes I ever had

One of the best sports shoes in my vast shoes collection. It first when I wore it it for the first time I felt awkward mainly because of the stack height but then when I started wearing it I loved everything about it so much that It became my favorite shoe out of the bunch. It is so comfortable and so versatile that you can wear it as a daily walking shoe or use it for running or other activities. You can wear it as an everyday life style shoe. Worth every penny of the money I spent on purchasing it.
