My cat has issues going pee. This is the only litter he has used consistently without fail. He loves it sooooo much i find him just chilling in his box (sometimes he rolls in it 🫩). Personally, I love the consistency and its soft on his paws. Does it capture poop smell well, not really. But whatever they add to this litter, keeps him coming back and that is a huge win. Very easy to clean up too.

We have always used Boxie Cat cat litter. Our one cat started having bladder problems from anxiety and would go outside the litter box when she had flair ups. After reading up on the subject, they said to try a softer litter and maybe one that attracts cats. I gave this a try and it works? It actually works so good, we have an indoor outdoor cat that adopted us; he does all of his business outside—at least for the last 12 years. Except now, he has started to go in the litter box once or twice a week. LOL If you shine a black light into the litter, you can see all of the iridescent sparkles in the box, kinda cool.

First off if you cat is peeing outside the litter box talk to a veterinarian and have a urinalysis done to make sure there are not health issues like UTI or crystals. Second, make sure you have enough litter boxes for the number of cats 1 cat = 2 boxes, 2 cats = 3 boxes,... Third have options - covered and non. Fourth make sure the boxes are not all in the same place and are in quiet spots (not next to the laundry machines). Fifth - clean the boxes at minimum once daily. Twice if you have more than one cat. Lastly - use this litter. It works for helping to retrain cats to the box. We have struggled for years doing all the things and then using this litter BOOM! she stopped peeing outside the boxes. Couldn't be more impressed and pleased with a product. It sounded like voodoo when I read the description but when you are desperate you try anything. We started off by pouring a layer onto our existing Tidy cat clumping litter because I didn't want to toss perfectly good litter. So we are slowly transitioning over but that was effective for our cat. This is low dust and no more tracking than other clumping litters.

I am a big fan of BoxieCat products. Recently, I introduced a new family member, a Maine Coon Cat named Kineo, who came to me from a breeder in Ukraine. Although he seemed a bit timid, I understood he might have different litter preferences. In my household, we use a Litter Robot to ensure a clean space for his needs. My favorite BoxieCat product is BoxieCat Pro because the probiotics effectively manage odors. However, Kineo initially resisted and chose a traditional litterbox, far too small for him. This led to some challenges, including his reluctance for a necessary cleanup. In my quest to help him adjust, I introduced him to the “Glo” product, designed to inspire an “A-HA” moment. The glowing aspect caught his attention, and finally, Kineo embraced his chambermaid service. I look forward to transitioning back to BoxieCat Pro, as it truly works wonders.

My cats have used Boxie for years and they love it (so do I) and have tried each of the formulations Boxie has produced. With this product the cats are supposed to see pretty colors, but to us humans it looks about the same as other Boxie products. The one thing I noticed is it’s more dusty when you pour it into the box. I was worried this would be a problem for one of my cats because she sneezes a lot due to allergies but I haven’t noticed a problem. It clumps well just as you would expect from Boxie products and easy to scoop. It controls smells and seems to last at least as long as the original formula. Boxie is more expensive and this is a bit more than other Boxie litters. I’d continue to buy it when it is on sale.
