Why did you choose this product over others?: Great item

The screws included are useless but apart from that the latch works as expected. I would buy again if necessary but I hope it lasts a long time.

My husband made me a new pair of gates for the back garden. This latch makes it easy to shut and stops the dog getting out

Great latch, easy to fit, nice mechanism, looks pretty sturdy.

Installed it alongside one of those springs that ensure the gate is closed. The combination is great and ensures that the gate is locked almost all the time. Delivery guys know how to work it too so overall a good buy for the price

The latch Is a standard garden fence latch and the mechanism works well once installed. However the joint that keeps the latch in place is very weak - if I tried, I could easily break it with my hands. Plus when I received the item, it had rust (see photos). I didn’t bother returning it as I wasn’t super fussed but if you care about the sturdiness, perhaps look elsewhere.

The product is just as described. It was easy to install and does exactly what I needed it for. The only criticism is that the latch doesn't not shut completely, I did have to prise the slot open.

Sturdy and very good quality. Would buy again
