Handcraft Blends Cedarwood Essential Oil - Huge 4 Fl Oz

Received packaged with care, product as described, very mild scent but definitely smells like Cedarwood. I have bought other scents through this maker before and will continue to purchase. Worth the price.

The fragrance is really good and woody. My husband thinks it smells like pine, but I don't really get a pine smell from it. I wanted to use this to add fragrance to laundry, but it's not very strong, so you need a lot to make it pull through in the wash or dryer, which is unfortunate. I'm hoping it'll work well as an insect repellant, as summer is ticking closer and more and more bugs are crawling out from the depths to inconvenience me at every turn. I'll update this review when I know whether it's effective against the spawn.

I use this product to restore the cedar aroma for cedar blocks I use to eliminate foot odor in shoes. When the cedar blocks begin to lose their aroma, they say a light sanding restores it, but I chose to put a half dozen drops of the cedar essential oil on the blocks and rub it in with my finger. Let the oil dry for a while and you are good to go. This bottle will last a long time for my purpose.

Smells like real cedar but also has a bit of a burnt after smell kind of like these were made from a leftovers from a woodmill.

Great oil for creating your own DIY air freshener. I placed a 1/4 cup of kosher salt in a dish with about 20 drops of the cedarwood oil and 10 drops of vanilla oil to create a wonderful fragrance for the bedroom. Also, cedarwood oil on a cotton ball for my trashcans... great oil! Cedarwood oil blended with a coconut carrier oil makes a wonderful skin and scalp massage oil. Thank you for a great and versatile product.

Smells good.

I bought this to help heal my son’s flea bites and it worked and it has helped keep them off of him. I will make my own spray eventually and I’m sure it will work to kill the fleas if I see them again and I hope I don’t!

Disappointed. The cedar oils have little smell and no scent. I expected a stronger natural seed of word aroma, but I could barely smell anything. Unfortunately, did not meet my expectations.

I checked a few reviews from various providers and went with this one due to the positive feedback on the smell. I'm happy with the purchase, cedarwood smell was strong enough without being overpowering and was a pleasant smell. Bought this to mix with some other essential oils to make a moth deterrent home blend for some drawers. Great purchase

Cedar wood and oil has long been used to keep insects at bay. They really hate the smell and tend to want to be elsewhere when it is present. I find that blending this with peppermint oil in my diffuser works very well in the summer to ward off those pesky mosquitoes but I suspect it would have a similar effect on many flying insects as well as other household pests. It's a fairly potent oil, so a little but goes a long way in my diffuser and I've never heard anyone say they find the smell of Cedar offensive, it's a nice calming sort of outdoorsy smell I think. It's a pleasant scent full stop, regardless of it's other useful properties. Would recommend to anyone.

So, this product is exactly what it claims to be and, I suppose I got my money's worth, I just wish I had done some research beforehand. Again, this is pure Himalayan cedar oil (real cedar) the type of cedar I was looking for was Virginia cedarwood (technically a member of the juniper family) This oil is woodsy, earthy, and lovely. But I was looking for that freshly sharpened pencil smell, when you first step into a sauna, or a neighbour redoes their fence, shingles, or siding. This oil is not that scent. All in all it is still a beautiful scent, and I will find other uses for it... and if the manufacturer is reading this, and feels like adding Virginia cedarwood to your stock, you will have a repeat customer.
