Better than the old Starbucks Chai
I bought this because of a comment that said it tasted like the old starbucks chai recipe and I was initially skeptical because that’s what I had heard about the Tazo chai (that I think is gross), but the comment was right! It’s similar to the old starbucks chai and I would even argue its better. I love that you can controll the sweetness of the drink, and substitute honey for sugar. 10/10 drink Also a great price for 100 cups (which I haven’t verified but a little bit of the powder does go a long way.

Easy Instant Chai - love I can adjust sweetness on my own!
Very good, great value. I used 3 scoops in about 8oz of milk (skipped the water) to make a chai latte. I like that it doesn’t have sugar so I can sweeten it as much (or as little) as I like. I will definitely continue to use this product! So glad I found it!

Fresh, aromatic lose leaf chai that is extremely well packaged!
Vahdam's Original Masala Chai is a wonderful loose leaf masala tea. I didn't think I would be able to find a 100% Indian quality loose leaf chai online. The packaging is superior and really helps maintain the aroma and freshness of the product. The product literature, included in ther package, was also very informative. Shipping was prompt, and their satisfaction guarantee and return policy are right up there with other leading brands. When I opened the vacuum packed bag, the burst of aroma was pretty incredible! I was apprehensive at first, but that initial explosion of aromas and the first cup of tea had me convinced that I had just purchased a wonderful tea. It's also satisfying to know that I'm buying tea from a producer who isn't far removed from the growers. I've had a cup or two everyday since receiving this product, and I've enjoyed every cup. However, a couple of suggestions that would make this tea even more appealing to me are listed here. This tea could be a little stronger. First, the tea flavor gets pretty easily diluted with the addition of 1 tsp creamer (I will try milk to see if it makes a difference). Second, ginger is unfortunately not part of this masala mix, but is probably best if freshly grated into the tea. I am anticipating that freshly grated ginger will give this tea an extra umph. Third, I would personally like to know more about the growers and the region (narrowly identify the growing fields/state/cooperative) the tea comes from. I often preferentially buy products that come from local farms, or ones that are willing to trace main ingredients directly to the farms where they were produced (e.g. olive oil, meats, dairy, coffee, fries, eggs, etc.). I really appreciate that Vahdam stamps the picking and packaging dates on their tea. My hope is to get tea from Vahdam that is fresher than the loose leaf organic teas & chais I can find locally in my city. We have a couple of local tea shops which sell loose leaf teas and chais in bulk, but my main issue with them is freshness, since many of their products don't get much turnover. In contrast, Vahdam's tea was easy to purchase from Amazon. I'm very impressed with how this company has made it possible to buy a solid loose leaf tea that is fresh and bursting with flavor, no matter where you live in the world!

Excellent taste and easy to make quickly
I gave this a 5 star because the product is excellent and they have done a good job. I add about 100 ml of water and 50 ml of milk measured intoa mug and heat in a microwave for 90 seconds. Then I add a little sugar and then 2 wooden heaped spoons of Vahdam powder and mix. My earlier way of making tea from the start used to take me 9 minutes and now I can finish between meetings and use this in less than 2 minutes. It tastes better than making the tea from scratch and does not need brew time. Aside from the product being good I have some peeves with the company. 1. The wooden spoon is very unwieldy and I am not comfortable using it as it is a thick spoon versus a think one. 2. I did not buy it because of the 100 cups and after 20 days of use the tin is half empty. I would avoid the message totally. 3. There is too much of messaging and the instructions for making the tea is sidelined and too small to read. Its like a marketing agency had to fill every inch of the tin with marketing messaging versus practical how to. GOod companies would have expanded from oz to ml and how to heat water and milk. I did not get a good taste when I followed the recipe so you should definitely improvize. Another reason I like this is that you can actually take this with you and use it in hotel rooms with hot water if you crave your early morning cup of tea. I would definitely recommend this product but needs better instructions.

Great replacement for Tazo (and surprisingly makes a great cold brew)!
I was looking for a good quality loose leaf chai that tasted similar to my standby Tazo (i.e. Starbucks), and this is an excellent replacement with a very similar spice profile (no ginger, which I actually prefer). When making chai, it is very important to consider your TOTAL final liquid amount when deciding how much of the tea to use (I use milk/water in equal amounts), and this could be why some people find it much too weak after adding milk. I actually do mostly cold brew these days and drink my chai cold more often than hot, but based on many reviews recommending boiling the mixture first, I did try that first. I started off by boiling the tea in water for several minutes, then letting it sit for a few hours to cool down, then straining out and adding milk. I did find that using just 1 teaspoon tea per cup of liquid was a bit weak, and I have settled on approximately 1 1/2 teaspoons tea per cup of chai, which is about perfect. After boiling the mixture the first couple times I made it, I wanted to see how it would do if I cold brewed it and how the strength/taste would compare. I added 4 1/2 teaspoons tea (plus 2 Tablespoons sugar) to a quart jar and covered it with 1 1/2 cups hot tap water (I let the tap get as hot as it could first), let it sit for a few hours. I then added milk to make 3 cups, placed in fridge overnight, and strained it out the next morning. I was very happy that it actually turned out great! I really did not notice any difference in flavor from when I boiled it, and the overall flavor was very similar to using the Tazo concentrate (Tazo seems to get some hate from tea purists but I love it). One last note: I think people underestimate how much sugar plays a role in making chai taste like chai (especially if you are used to drinking it in coffee houses like Starbucks or using the concentrate). When making something at home, you don't realize how much sugar actually goes into those concentrates. I have found that using about 2 teaspoons sugar per cup of liquid makes it sweet enough for me (but is still only about half of what goes into the concentrates!).

A+ Instant Masala Chai Tea
For an instant Tea, This is a very good Masala Chia tea, I love it, I've been drinking chi teas for a long time and this one of the best I've drank so far. However The container is too small and that silly little bamboo spoon, Its not design to scoop the tea out properly, it seems that your fingers always get some of the tea stuck on it, I would toss it out and just use a regular TEA spoon and average out the amount. But all in all it's a very good tasting tea. Love it.

Good but used 3x more tea to get flavor
Good flavor, slightly spicy, when a lot more tea is used. I followed the directions for my first cup with two spoonfuls ( spoon included) of tea to 4 oz hot water, then adding 4 oz of milk. Just tasted like warm milk to me. I ended up adding four or five more scoops of tea powder one at a time tasting after each was added. I ended up with a nice little 8 oz cup of chai after adding six to seven scoops of tea. At that recipe, using 6-7 spoonfuls per 8 oz cup, it decreased the number of cups per tin from 100 cups to 33 or less🫤

Worth the price
I have searched and tried other brands repeatedly, but these Vahdam varieties have set the standard for me. This tea is more expensive but has made me picky. I’m willing to pay the extra dime for something I really like.

India's Original Masala Chai
First, I have seen the Vahdam Brand in US, in my recent visit. My son told me that this brand is genuine and famous in US. I observed very good reviews on Vahdam at Amazon.com. After returning to India I bought various teas of this brand and tasted. Out of all ,I like the Oolong tea and this Masala Chai. Earlier to my US visit I never take black tea, there I have habituated double spice black tea of STASH. While coming back to India, I brought the same Stash. But comparing to US Stash product, our "Vahdam's Masala Chai taken without milk" is excellent. This is cost effective also While comparing it with US black tea. Now I am very much habituated to this chai and Oolong black tea. Tastes good and feels fresh.
