External SSD use case
Like it, I am using it now to play my old music library from my macbook using my Iphone. Although I noticed it gets a bit hot when in use, it could be normal anyway.

Good quality, small but super fast
I purchased this SSD to transfer a few hundred video files, each ranging from 1 to 2GB. It arrived in two days, as expected, and was well-packaged. I was surprised by how compact it was when I first took it out of the box. The photo shows it on a 3 by 3 inch sticky note. After connecting it to my MacBook Pro, I copied 200 files totaling about 300GB. The entire process took only around 5 minutes, which translates to an impressive speed of approximately 1GB per second. However, when copying smaller files, the transfer speed was slightly slower. For instance, copying a folder containing 1,300 files (totaling 6GB) took about 1 minute and 30 seconds. To further test the performance, I used the Blackmagic Disk Speed Test app. The results showed consistent read and write speeds of around 1.3GB per second (assuming the test was accurate). I also discovered that the transfer speed depends on the cable used. With the included cable, I achieved the 1.3GB per second speed, but when I used the USB-C cable that came with my iPad, the speed dropped to about 300MB per second. So make sure you use the included cable or have another high quality cable. Although I didn’t reach the advertised maximum speed of 2000MB per second (not sure whether it's because of the SSD on my MBP), this SSD is still incredibly fast. I also tested it with my Samsung phone since I don’t have an iPhone. Transferring photos and videos from my phone to the SSD was impressively quick, much faster than using my old USB drive. This SSD has definitely saved me a lot of time and effort.

Fast and reliable for filming!
Its lightweight and magnetic design makes it easy to carry around, best for iphone 15 pro. I especially love to use ProRes to take video with this SSD. Great product!
