Yes, this is basically a step down transformer, this plugs into a 220 or 240 Volt AC outlet and puts out 120 or 110 Volt pure sine wave AC, most things made for that voltage will work just the me same as it did plugged into a 110/120 volt outlet. Note the frequency is still 50 hertz not the normal 60 hertz. A fan will run slower, most modern equipment will not be affected by the frequency difference as they convert the AC voltage to DC and use voltage regulators to make the voltage correct. Make sure you check the wattage on the device you want to use and have room for a startup surge so you don’t blow the fuse when starting a device. If still in doubt google “step down transformers” powering a device like you want to use. Hope this helps.

Sweet Unit.

If you have access to power for hot tub 220 v then this unit is for you. Without a switch, unit is a vampire. Wire a switch or use a plug. Well under a hundred dollars!

Great to use in EU when you are buying electric from 🇺🇸

The positive about this converter is that you can use it for your hard floor scrub machine that I bought from 🇺🇸 It has a lot of power 750W. That's great. Minus is there's no rubber feet and can easily make marks on your floors
