VERY NICE AND STURDY

Great.

Love this grill

Fit perfectly and protects the grill from the elements . Price was right and the fast shipping was a plus . Making the grill stay clean and longer lasting .

This is a phenomenal little griller/smoker as advertised. I got it for just under $200 on a Black Friday combo sale complete w/ ceramic heat stone, grate/hook and all-weather cover, all essential accessories IMO. 1st caveat: Out of the box, the lid came preassembled to the kettle but the lower latch did not line up with the upper clasp. I tried loosening and re-aligning the rear hinge as there is no room for adjustments on the front latch, and got it to work, but the alignment is still off by a wide margin. This is just sloppy quality control at the factory and/or assembly line which is rather disappointing for an otherwise well-designed & constructed grill w/ quality materials. I may try adding some washers to the hinge as a hack to offset the slop and true up the alignment. I seasoned my cast iron grate with canola oil the night before my first BBQ. 2nd caveat: keep a CLOSE EYE OUT on the air vents BEFORE the temp escalates out of control. I left the air vents wide open for 15 mins and the temp shot up to 650F. Very difficult if not impossible to bring the temp back down on any reasonable time line to slow roast range (~250F) once it goes thermonuclear. Next day I did my first BBQ: a 5.5 lbs turkey breast that I marinated in brine (thank you Pioneer Woman recipe) overnight combined with a home-made dry rub just before placing the breast on the preheated grill. I brought up the heat slowly under a vey careful eye keeping it steady at 250F-ish and used the ceramic heat stone, and tossed in some cherry wood chips for extra flavor. If anything, I was too conservative with the amount of charcoal and had to supplement it twice, which prolonged the roasting time as I fiddled with the grill too much. The turkey nonetheless came out amazing to stellar reviews. Now that I know that heat/vent management is hyper-finicky, I plan to master it and take my BBQ game to the next level. I watched some You Tube videos by fellow AKORN Jr aficionados and they were super informative. So consider studying up before firing it up unless you are already a Pro with super-insulated thermonuclear reactors!

Fits well. Good protection for the Acorn Jr.

Fits nicely but wish it had elastic at the bottom to hold it in place better

Nice cover. Just what we were looking for to protect our grill

Great product at a descent price

Strong and well made for the weather elements. Fits and looks great.

Perfecta para el Junior, quizás vendría bien algo para ajustarla abajo

Bon barbecue qui chauffe vite, bonne inertie et possibilité de faire des flam kueches

Står inte akorn på den, det står akörn. Inte så kul.
