Nice n cheap
Nice colour just not good for me as hair grows too quick and I'm white in places,it does stain the white but dosent stay long but it is only a semi, but nicer on the hair and dosent stink like most dyes

Great for first few greys
Great for concealing regrowth, is a little dark to begin with but after a couple of washes it fades a bit.

Keeps its colour
Took ages to fade.

Great grey coverage and glossy finish
Fab coverage of my grey and left my hair lovely and soft. Too early to say how long it will last but fab option to extend between hairdresser visits.

Dreadful product - NOT semi permanent
I purchased this product as advertised as semi permanent and I wanted to refresh my ends but keep my roots their natural colour. However, as soon as I had washed the colour off, I knew that it had lifted my root colour ! My hair is now reddish at the roots and darker on the lengths. Please be careful when purchasing this item. I would 100% NOT recommend.

READ UPDATE Covers 30-50% greys no problem! Follow instructions to the letter!!!
READ UPDATE BELOW Purchased light ash brown 75/211 months ago and not dared use until today, because of all the negative reviews. It is FABULOUS. Wife now has this on subscription. Her comments: Used on virgin salt and pepper hair (circa 30-50% grey). The coverage is perfect, colour very natural (Nb: mid brown outcome though, not light - definitely runs a little darker than the pic, but is certainly not anywhere near black, and unlike another reviewer I can vouch that it is definitely not orange), condition post application feels great. Used on day old clean hair, no product, dry, brushed. Followed instructions to the letter. No problems staining skin or bath (Vaseline to hairline; wiped off plastic bath easily). No stinging or discomfort. Used cold water on low volume to rinse very thoroughly. Can only think that negative reviews either reflect use on product loaded hair, or wet hair, or simply failing to use enough boxes (need at least 2 if hair longer than shoulders, and I wouldn’t try to retain any conditioner- use it all). I can’t fault it. Will update if needed, but atm it’s taken at least 10 years off (the salt and pepper was tremendously aging) and has made all wiry silver hair deeply coloured, and very smooth and glossy. It seems perfect. Unbelievable for a cheap old-skool semi-permanent. Very, very happy! ***UPDATE*** after 24 hours, no hair washing, heat, or product, the colour first changed on the grey to a much redder variant (and lacked depth, looking chalk-like), day 3, the colour is leeching/shifting in the grey. Some is now back to grey, some is a very light brown/straw colour. Again, no washing or product. I can see how someone with dominant grey might see this as first bright red and then ‘tea like’ (see other user reviews). It is already very different to freshly applied, and it is nowhere near as good quality. It now does look like a fading dye (although still better than virgin grey hair!). Unfortunately, I can’t describe this as ‘natural’…Oh well. Time to look elsewhere!!!
