TLDR: Wow. Just, wow! After much research to choose a reputable & trustworthy transfer service, I chose Lotus Media…and boy am I glad I did!!! 👏👍 I can’t praise the work product, the professionalism and the customer service of Ngina and her crew highly enough. Five stars aren’t enough, these folks deserve ALL the stars! Found a few 8mm videocassettes and one VHS cassette of great personal/sentimental value in storage. I looked into a number of transfer services, as I wanted to move these memories from their analog sources into a digital world. I was nervous about trusting these tapes to someone (anyone) else, hence a great deal of research. I reached out to Lotus customer service for clarification on their return tape policy & cost. They responded very quickly with specific cost of tape return and assured me they’d be happy to return all the tapes together (at the single-tape cost) rather than having to pay separately for each tape. Awesome! They informed me when they received the tapes that they’d get to them right away, and they sure did! The digital files from the 8mm tapes were uploaded for my access the same day, and the file for the VHS tape was available to download the next day. Super fast! You might be wondering…with such fast turnaround, did they really do a good job on the transfer? In a word, YES YES YES! (Okay, that’s three words.) :-D The quality of the transfer and the care with which they’d tread my tapes was my MOST important concern, and was the reason I did so much research before choosing Lotus Media to transfer my tapes. It’s clear to me that my 30+ year old memories were very safe in their hands…to my great delight and relief! I’m able now to look back on memories that for decades have lived only in my memory, but can now be shared with others. I sure was young in the early 1990’s! Thank you, Lotus Media. You really came through and you *greatly* exceeded my high expectations!

If you are on the fence about a service like this from Amazon, look no further! I took a chance on sending in some priceless hi8 footage and was not dissapointed! Fair prices, easy communication, great service and fast delivery! Highly recommend ! Will be coming back again for more transfers !

I had a 25-year-old VHS tape of 8mm family movies originally shot 1957-65 but I no longer own a VHS player to view the tape [or maybe it's being used as a boat anchor somewhere]. I wanted to get the tape digitized to protect it forever and make it easy to copy for other family members. I'd looked at Legacy Box but, from what I could tell, it was going to cost me a minimum $79. I decided to take a chance on this Amazon deal for Video Tape Transfer Service by Lotus Media and ... WOW! There are some forms that need to be completed [nothing too time-consuming] and I did have to make a trip to the post office which is the only reason I wouldn't give it a full 5-stars for "Ease of Use". I anticipated the turnaround being a good three weeks. I was quite surprised and happy to see the download link of the transferred file sent to my email in less than a week. I was able to easily download the file and dupe it five times for my siblings. Sometimes, when converting files, there's a slight degradation in image quality. Not this time. The digitized file was every bit as clear and sharp [well, as much as 65-year-old source technology would allow]. Still waiting on the VHS tape to be returned but not worried about that. I ran slightly over the total number of hours that could be transferred for the sale price so I paid an additional $14. Total bill: Right about $35, I highly, highly recommend this service. And do it today or you may regret not preserving these precious memories sooner! - Pete.

30 year-old Hi8 tape sent for reproduction/conversion.... My Hi8 equipment has just given up operability, due to age - so I engaged this service with my old cherished memories. I am beyond impressed - as I used to do these conversions myself at home. The tape media itself was questionable, evidenced by the tape turning-upwards on each edge. Turnaround was quick, and access to the conversion file was seamless.... {2 thumbs up!! }

The conversion from my H8 PAL tapes was very good, which was originally recorded in 1996. My camcorder broke, so I had no other way to review the tapes also. Took about 9 days after they received it. I recommend this service highly. It is reliable and overall quality is very good. I opted for the cloud drive delivery for two tapes. The link worked well and I could share with other family members. It was about 2.5 GB for two tapes. Tape was sent at my expense and delivery was also charged. I would like to give a feedback that the description of the service at Amazon is not too useful. You may need to describe how the order for conversion works and the required instructions. I have to read through another reviewer's comments to understand what we are paying for and how it is delivered. There is also no indication that you have received the tapes and working on it. This avoids unnecessary anxiety.

Highly recommend their conversion services. I had a camcorder tape that was over 20 years old that I've kept in storage. The turn around was quick, and I was able to have video of old family that I haven't heard in years. Audio was correct to a tee and honestly it brought tears of joy. Please keep doing amazing work!

I was very surprised that lotus media send me a email quick after they got my package with all my old video and VHS 📼 tape also 8 mm old film from the 70s after 2 weeks it was done ✔️ I am very happy of the resolution… of the video tanks !!!

Amazon sends an addressed envelope. You take it to the post office. It took around a week from Canada. Great service and the product was perfect.
