Affordable desk that arrived within a few days of ordering. -- Impressive packaging: Several pieces in one box. Items was packaged neatly and clearly labeled. Very impressed with how each piece was neatly placed in a custom-fit, thick, white padding (higher quality than the typical styrofoam). Hard cardboard spacers were used on all four corners to protect the wood pieces from shifting and getting damaged. Kudos to the delivery guy how carried the heavy box with ease. -- Installation: Easy to decipher the pictured instructions that had helpful hints if something didn't fit. Although recommended to have two people to install, I was able to do it by myself. Just be careful flipping the table. Its heavy. -- Hardware: I liked the metal plates used to attach the table top together and the metal braces to attach the hutch to the table top. It's not plastic! Adding the flat metal plates at the ends of the desk wasn't necessary but it added a nice finished look to the desk. Great attention to detail! -- Functionality: The desk raises and lowers at a good speed. No child lock like my previous desk, but feel it's not necessary. Front, back and sides of drawers are hard cardboard-like; covered by a sturdy cloth material. Handles of drawers are metal. Desk is sturdy and a good size. It's feels like one solid piece and it's not too heavy if you need to move it. -- Overall: Extremely happy with this purchase. I was very impressed with the packaging, quality of materials, and the overall esthetic look of the desk.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this desk. Very sturdy- even at Max height. My one observation was that amazon recommended the single mount / Dual Monitor Stand which I ordered so i wouldn't have to use monitor stands for my 2 monitors. The mount wasn't really compatible with this desktop due to the solid back wall and low depth of the upper desk if i mounted it on the front side. As such, I had to drill a hole in the upper desktop to mount it. But because this desk top (including the upper shelf) is made of a solid wood material, it holds the weight beautifully. VERY STURDY! I was a bit skeptical about the soft sided drawers, but they are actually much more sturdy than i expected and i really like them. Even bought a side table with a similar design. The upper desk has edges which are great. Variations in carpet padding thickness and chair pad gave my desk just a wee bit of height variance. This desktop has a very sturdy outer edge which keeps things from rolling off - even on the upper shelf, so nothing gets pushed off the back of it accidentally. Note: Not having had a desk like this in the past, i would recommend you know exactly where you want to put your monitors on this desktop. I originally thought i could put them in the corner or even on the short arm, but ultimately put them on the longer side due to the size of my monitors. I ended up drilling a mounting hole for this monitor stand in the upper shelf deck - but i can honestly say that the sturdy construction materials are holding things PERFECTLY. No instability at all. The wood finish on this product is really beautiful (i chose the brown wood) as well. To me, this is a premium product for the price point. Very easy to set up and I expect it to last a long time. I looked at some more expensive products which were similar in design, and I'm very glad I chose this one.

Very sturdy , took about 3hrs to build but the stand up desk works very well. Motor is very quiet and strong. Great size of a medium sized office

love this desk so far. i got the 63" size with top shelf & drawers in black. it's well made and strong. height adjusting motor runs smoothly. assembly was pretty straight forward with clear instructions. the only part that was trick is a few screws with the allen wrench would of been better as phillips head screws. but i got it all done in about an hour with only one person. desk is very well made, all the holes lined up perfectly and it has enough self weight that tipping over is not going to happen. the motor raises & lowers pretty quickly and is smooth enough that nothing will fall off the desk. the only drawback is that i wish the power cord where twice as long. with only about 4 ft of cord, I've had to plug it into a power strip to reach the wall outlet. fortunately i have one with surge protection and battery backup. i do wish there was more than one grommet hole in the top, but otherwise it has good cable management box on the underside.

Headache!!! After we put it together and turned it over per directions it fell apart because of the quality!! All screw on the bottom fell out ! This was a gift and I was completely embarrassed!! Do not waste your time or money !

This is a heavy package, just FYI. I needed to use a hand-truck to wheel it inside. It took quite a while to assemble, as there are a lot of pieces, but the instructions were easy to follow. The pilot holes for screws (as well as very sharp screws) made the few things you need a little elbow grease for easy. The rest are done using an allen key. BE SURE your pieces are facing the right way; the hex screws have weak heads and strip easily. The desk raises and lowers from a standard 'bed' height up to my chest (I'm 6') silently. It's currently holding four monitors and a large flatscreen TV as it does so. The construction of this desk is solid, the wood is not. It's better than most press-board type wood, but that type of wood by its nature is prone to snapping/cracking. I would otherwise give this desk five-stars, but for this price some real lumber would be cost efficient and improve the quality greatly. For anyone worried about the optional shelving around the edges, it's solid. It's braced in two places with metal bridges and four more wooden braces as well. If assembled correctly, every piece serves to stabilize the unit as a whole. Even at about 250 lbs., I can carefully use the weaker parts of the desk to help me stand without worrying it's going to snap. (After a while, sitting was just a more comfortable option!) It took me a while to assemble, but I was in a very small space and am currently on the mend from Bronchitis, so I would expect this could be done in the space of an hour/hour and a half. I recommend you have help available for a couple of quick moments, as you will have to balance pieces AND attach screws at the same time. I did it by myself and wish I had had help. Overall, I'm glad I bought this desk. So far it just seems well designed and manufactured. Again, even the press-board type wood pieces seem to be a higher quality than I'm used to in DYI furniture. I recommend this desk if you're looking for a piece that will last, has a few extra perks (I really like the cloth drawers and leather magazine sling!) The construction isn't complicated, though it is a bit labor intensive: this thing has a lot of moving parts!

Great desk...just took longer to assemble than expected.

There was a lot of parts, the Allen wrench provided doesn’t work in some of the spots very good, and the top had some damage. It took my husband two days to build it only because he started late the day before. You should be able to put this together within a few hours. Maybe more. It’s roomy but I had problems with some of my cords. There is only one hole for them to go through and some of them are short. I did have my husband mount a power strip underneath the desk so that when it goes up and down all the cords go with it. The desk goes up and down as it should. I like the fact that there are four different memory settings that you can make. As long as it continues to operate correctly, I will be happy.

this took a really long time to assemble but it works great and is exactly what we were looking for!

Es un gran escritorio y bastante bonito, muy amplio y sus cajones prácticos. Acabados de buena calidad, elegante, es robusto, el motor se escucha algo fuerte pero para mi no es problema. Venia muy bien embalado en una caja bastante pesada, en cuanto al montaje se recomienda 2 personas pero yo lo hice solo perfectamente tardando unas 3 horas y media con las instrucciones que vienen muy fácil de entender (lo único que no trae y es necesario es el destornillador de estrella). La única pega es que es muy caro pero por esta calidad es entendible, no estoy arrepentido de la compra estoy muy satisfecho. Se recomienda si se quiere un escritorio en condiciones.

Très satisfaite du bureau ! Les rangements sont tellement pratiques et permettent d’avoir tellement plus d’espace et d’organisation, un vrai plaisir ! Le moteur fonctionne bien et 4 positions peuvent être enregistrées. Petit + pour les porte gobelets, porte magazine et crochet, seul bémol, plateau 2 fois plus fin que les bureaux des concurrents type IKEA donc il faut être prudent avec les vis pour ne pas abîmer son plateau, à voir comment le moteur vit dans le temps mais en tout cas je suis ravie ! Il y a 5 tiroirs en tissus au total fournis mais je ne les ai pas tous mis pour garder des rangements ouverts Concernant la livraison ça a été compliqué d’être mis en relation avec le service, comme le colis vient de loin mais tout s’est bien passé
