VTS-881 Micro Stun Gun for Self Defense Rechargeable with LED Flashlight

My mom bought me one of these in purple a few years ago and I love it! It's small enough to fit in my coat pocket or purse and even comes with a black carrying case - it fits perfectly in your hand and has a comfort texture. There is a small button you slide on it that pops out a plug so you can plug it into an outlet to charge it, which according to the instructions, you only need to do once a month. I've gone much longer than that without charging it and it still works excellently - it holds the charge for a very long time. To operate it, you slide a button up one position to activate the flashlight (super bright) and push it up further to activate the stun gun; then you press and hold a separate button to taze someone. When you deploy the button, it makes an incredibly loud sound as the voltage goes through it and the mugger. I have luckily not had to use it on anyone, but the voltage is definitely enough to give a mugger a good shock and the loud buzzing/crackling sound alerts anyone around that a crime is going down. I have it turned on and my hand on it in my pocket when I have to walk in Baltimore City or DC when I occasionally use the metro or go visit my friend there. Don't worry, you won't stun yourself even if you leave it in the on position because you'd have to hold the button down to do that. I feel so safe when I have this, especially given how crime laden that area is. In fact, I even bought one for a few of my girl friends so we all feel safe. It's worth every penny and I can't believe the great price for how effective and very well made this is. I also love the variety of colors this comes in for both genders.

Very loud lol it will scare you at first. It does have a burning smell if you hold it for too long not that bad though. It’s lightweight and fits in a purse very well. Great grip and has a safety switch. Quality is great. This stun gun is worth every penny!!!

This thing feels durable and well made. Flashlight works good and the taser works good. Make sure to put it shocky side down in the case and it acts like a safety. Works great. It's the perfect size for my niece and wife's tiny hands

This thing is perfect. To be sure, I own a taser brand stun gun. The one you buy for over $400. When the cartridge is removed you can use that gun exactly like this one. And guess what? They pack the same punch. So really you spend $400 so you get one cartridge that hopefully shoots and hopefully lands on the target, then sprays your identification all over with these tiny little papers that spill out with all your ID on them and god forbid you miss because then you’re going to be screwing around with trying to pop out the spent cartridge fast enough to try and make that taser become this very $10 item you’re about to purchase. Not to mention cartridges cost through the roof and no rechargeable battery and spares costing like $60 ... and you get what I’m saying. This is the only stun gun you need. Compact to the point you can hide it in your hand. Just as strong as any expensive brand. I of course tried it on myself for comparison. Hurts like hell and yes it does go through clothes. Even a split second jolt will leave welts on your skin. Everyone should get at least two of these. Sorry for anyone who got a defective one but so far I’m 2/2 on both working. Zero issues and absolutely satisfied. Even comes with a little pouch case. Nice touch. These people are selling peace of mind for $10! You can’t beat that. Oh and the LED flash light is plenty bright. I would rather have this in my hand than look for a stick if some wild animal came. If it can take a person down an animal shouldn’t be a problem I figure. I mean unless you’re the type of person that is always packing, this is the next best thing. Oh and if you have issues with light toggle through being too much of a giveaway consider this. The $400 taser requires the light to be on at all times in order to use the stun feature. Now that’s a giveaway right there. This is nothing. Be happy
