AliMed Swedish AFO, Men's Right, Black

Excellent support for my drop foot. The only problem is that the Velcro on the strap wears out quickly, and I have to fold my sock down over the strap to keep it from coming loose.

My husband's physical therapist recommended this. It does help him improve his walking with his right foot which is affected by a stroke, but the device is VERY hard to fit into the shoe.

This brace is lightweight and flexible However, it could fit a little better for comfort But, compared to the solid cumbersome braces, this by far much better depending how advanced you are in your walking phase

I tried this on and first thing i notice is it stabs you in the ankle. Being that there is no return policy for these non-porous completely cleanable afo I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. I feel like I just wasted 30 bucks. Placed it against my leg and knew instantly it would cause blisters and cuts. Buyer beware

Good product. I bought it after having bought another AFO from a different manufacturer, which came in white only. This one I bought because it was black and the support strap looked solid. It turned out it is.

I have drop foot from a pelvis break decades ago and my foot hangs and I can easily trip over my toes. I was given one of these "off the shelf" AFOs after I was released from the hospital and before I had a custom made light weight AFO made specifically for me. Sometimes I don't feel like wearing the big bulkier custom brace and I prefer to wear this smaller brace. Especially in the summer when it's hot. The one the hospital gave me was white and I used it literally until the strap had no more velcro left to stay together. One day I was browsing Amazon and I noticed they also come in black which I didn't even know. With a pair of black dress socks one cannot even see I'm wearing it when I sit down and pant legs rise up to expose my ankle. I've bought a black and white AFO from this seller and they are saved and favorited in case I need another.

Cut down to size to fit my shoe but the top is too tight and digs into my calf. Very painful to wear.

I was skeptical because MS of the drop foot afos that were like what they gave me at the med clinic where $300.00 pulse but I tried this one and love it. Gait is better than with carbine fiber ones and driving is a lot better i can feel peddles. Strap falls down but I took the band and Velcro stickers off one of my cracked afos and stays up. Love it with easy mods.
