Great picture...in the prime viewing area
This TV was easy to set up, and the picture quality is impressive, though the picture looks washed out when viewed more that 20ยฐ off-axis from the "sweet spot." That tends to be the "nature of the beast" with LCD TVs. This is a basic TV -- not lots of input/output ports. That's fine with me. I use a receiver to handle the audio and the video switching for DirecTV and my Blu-Ray player. I just need a single HDMI cable from the receiver to the TV. The TV offers good streaming capabilities when connected to a high-speed home router, either via WiFi or a dedicated RJ-45 connector. I use the TV's ARC feature to feed the audio from live (antenna) TV or streaming video back to the receiver via that same HDMI cable. Sweet. The included remote has no replaceable battery -- it has a photo-sensor and is charged by light. I'm not certain that's an advantage, but so far it hasn't been a problem.

Would not recommend, warranty process is awful
When I first got this tv I was fairly impressed, big tv clear vibrant picture, life was great! But after having the tv for 10 months I started to see vertical lines, this issue was made even worse when any subtitles were on. The tv was under a year old so off to the phone to call Samsung inquiring about warranty. Some of the representatives I talked to on the phone were nice but not helpful, those that had the ability to do anything were rude in the end. Somehow Samsung had the original purchase date of the tv wrong, I had purchased through Amazon and was able to provide and invoice but the fact that the tv had been registered at an earlier date was concerning. Eventually, 2 weeks later, Samsung dispatched their authorized repair service โService Quickโ, two workers came to my house and confirmed in fact my tv was experiencing issues. The two workers took my tv off the wall and left with it, said it would be repaired within a few days and delivered back the next week. It has been over 2 weeks since they took my tv away, the company communication with customers is non existent aside from some automated emails and Iโm not sure Iโll ever get my tv back from them. Calling Samsung back about this issue just results in further frustration, and each time at the conclusion of the phone call there is suppose to be a survey to rate their service, but their representatives terminate the phone call before you ever reach that point. In the end itโs a big 4K tv, the user interface can be annoying, especially if you only using the tv as a screen and use an Apple TV or cable box instead of the built in smart features, all of this I can live with. My experience with Samsungโs support and their authorized repair centers has been a disaster, I would encourage others to look into any other brands when considering a purchase like this one.

good
TV well packaged and arrived undamaged.Easy to set up - wifi/alexa - home app choices availableGood pictureLike that it is slim and despite it's size (70) and weight I was able to get the legs on and move it up onto my tv stand on my own with a little waddlingonly downside is it only has hdmi ports on the back... which I did not check before buying which means I had to buy component and composite to hdmi converters to be able to connect my older gaming consoles

A EXCELLENT PRODUCT & GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY
The picture is VERY good... easy setup, even for gaming consoles.I recommend using a wall mount if your TV is going to face windows, that way you cant tilt the TV a little, to prevent glare.I have had my TV for over 4 years & haven't had any issues. I have been buying Samsung products for over 17 years now.โโOne GREAT way Samsung shows appreciation for customers, is giving us Samsung TV plus- 150 channels for FREE... you can watch your local stations (WITHOUT needing one of those digital boxes to pick up local channels), movies, shows, documentaries & more. Plus, there is music to listen to- there are different types of music to choose from. How many other companies give you something EXTRA (that saves you money every month), just for buying their product??I can't think of ANY.Thank you, Samsung.
