What is the difference between the EX 04-06 and the perfect finish 4/6 other than the price?

EX04-06 is designed to be used with a DA polisher. Perfect Finish is designed to be used with a rotary polisher. You can mix and match, and do whatever feels most comfortable. That being said, the Perfect Finish abrasives are a little "better" and need a little more heat to break down. That is why it is paired with a rotary, and also why it is a little more expensive.

Should I use a soft pad or hard pad using Chemical guy pads?

Depends on if you’re doing 1 step or 2 and the color of the paint. If you’re trying to remove swirls and small scratches in black paint, I recommend using Sonax Cutmax first and then EX 04-06. I did Cutmax with orange Chemical Guys pad and EX 04-06 with white and it came out great. If you just want to do the EX, on black I’d recommend using an orange or green pad depending on how bad the defects are. Might be best to just buy a full set of pads or an orange, green and white and try a couple test spots to see what works best

The only polish needed most of the time.

This is the polish I end up going back to again and again. On a medium foam polishing pad, with a DA, this takes care of almost anything in one step, and finishes as well as anything I have found. It cleans out of the pads nicely, and wipes off of the surface easily enough.

Complètement INEFFICACE

Appliqué avec soin, comme décrit, exactement, absolument aucune rayure ne s'atténue. Légères rayures dues à un frottement entre deux plastiques de carrosseries, pas contre un mur en pierre, ni contre un élément très agressif, et bien rien. Aucune différence. J'ai bossé 30 ans dans les voitures je sais donc comment l'appliquer. Et sur quelles rayures. Ca doit servir uniquement contre les traces de feuilles sur la tôle, ou bien les traces de pluie... J'essaierai... Mais à priori, j'ai juste à le mettre à la benne.
